Can't think what to say about it...
-
Congratulations.
-
They can have mine back then. I didn't spend 6 hours a week in lectures to have my degree that I've never used cheapened in such a way.
-
My lady's there tomorrow for her Masters ceremony. The Masters that she put alot of effort into.
Glad her's wasn't the same day as Brady's, to be honest.

Congratulations to her and to everyone else getting their postgraduate degrees from the great educational establishment over the next few days

We had Nigel Mansell getting one while I was there. Exciting speech he gave as you can probably imagine.
-
Congratulate her from me aswell Chris.
-
Sir Stirling Moss was getting one when i graduated.
I wonder did she wish it was from the university of Arsenal instead.
-
Valerie Holiday and Sheila Ferguson were getting theirs on the same day I got mine. We decided to start a band then too.
-
A First in Slappery! amazing subject
-
Delia Smith was getting an honoury one on the same day as the wife got hers, she was surprisingly sober, Delia that is.
-

Aston University would tell her to feck off.
-
That will go nicely next to her Ann Summers award.
-
Is is Birmingham University or Birmingham City University?
-
Info here (http://www.birminghammail.net/birmingham-sport/birmingham-city-fc/2010/12/16/karren-brady-awarded-honourary-degree-from-university-of-birmingham-97319-27838183/)
-
Just what is the point of an honorary degree?
Also how good a job does she do - remind me where West Ham are.
-
John Motson got one a few days before me from the University of Bedfordshire, at least John Motson has dones something for the game! As for Karren, where shall I start?
-
Wherever she lets you.
-
Wherever she lets you.
Well that is my appetite lost then!
-
Is 'Honorary Degree from Birmingham Uni" a low budget flesh film?
-

Good heavens, man. Agent Brady is doing a wonderful job keeping the Rags out the bottom three by occupying one of the places. Why else would Birmingham offer her an honoury degree?
-
I've actually warmed to her since she left that lot and started appearing on The Apprentice. There, I've said it.
-
used to see her in the Masons in solihull all the time with peskylido. Always looked like she was expecting trouble but she was left alone - really yer not going to get banned from a pub by starting on a z-list couple. She's tiny, like a doll, or she was
-
Check out her new teeth , has she been in touch with Shaun Ryders dentist ?

She looks like she's been replaced by a Stepford robot.

I don't mind her, either.
She gets a lot of unfair stick on here - much of which seems to revolve around her being a woman, with the accompanying predictable insults - but she's clearly no idiot to have done so well for herself.

On the one hand I agree with that, but on the other anyone I ever talk to who has business dealings with her tends to comment on her almost unbelievable thickness.

I drove past her the other day.
She was driving a brand new Range Rover Sport. I was driving a six year old hatchback.

Which is another puzzler. If she's that bad, why do so many companies employ her? There are surely better and equally high-profile Token Women.

Maybe she hires a highly skilled private investigator, and when she goes for interviews just calmley slides a brown paper envelope of compromising photos accross the table to her future employer.
Other than that, I'm stumped.
-
Perhaps she's just good at her job.
-
I've worked long enough to know that you don't get anywhere by just being 'good at your job'.
-
True enough.

As you go higher up the ladder, it's easier to get away with not being great and/or doing fuck all. I should know....
-
Maybe she's got whatever the business world equivalent of the X Factor is. From the few times I've seen her on television or read articles by her, she comes across to me as having little, if any, emotional attachment to whatever product she's dealing with, which I suspect can be an asset.
-
Why is this a sticky? She's not a honorary Brummie.
-
Stickied for the craic or what?
-
It's very difficult to see what Brady has that sets her apart from the rest. I reckon she might have been okay in the roles she has worked in over the years in as much as she wasn't directing but carrying out orders for her various bosses. Could she stand on her own without that direction? I can't see it somehow.
Still, I can't dislike her too much even in the knowledge that those who have worked for her have referred to her as a right bitch.
She looks better with her new teeth.
-
Looks like a little bit of nip and tuck as well as the teeth.
-
She had some breast augmentation a few years back.
-
Perhaps she's just good at her job.
let's be honest she was MD of Small heath at what age? 21 or 22
Nothing to do with "favours" given to the dwarf....

Yes, she's a woman so that MUST be it. Yaaaaawn.
-
So how often do you see a 23 year old as the MD of a major company if their dad isn't the owner or they have extra talents on their CV.
In fact I would bet that she is the youngest ever MD (not owner) of a football club.

Don't try and she she got such a position at 23 because of her "business acumen"

It could be for many reasons. It could be her business ability. She could have won the job in a raffle. Personally, I think it's because Sullivan and her dad are close friends.
But no. She's a woman. There can be only one explanation.

What? She makes a good brew?
I actually quite like her. She seems pretty switched on and Alan Sugar seems to think she always drove a hard deal. Also I find her quite attractive in her own way. sorry
