Bloody tough place to go this. We're going to have to be able to keep the ball away from them for long spells of the game - but fortunately GH knows this. 2-1 us.

They've looked flat for me this year.  But like all Steve Bruce teams they will be hard to wear down. 1-3 Downing, Albrighton and Young (A).  Queue a spanking =(

It'll be tough but we're more than capable of winning there. I'll go for 0-1. Ireland 90.

Man City lost there.  Both Man Utd & Arsenal could only managed a draw.  Things might not be rosy for us but you never know...

Draw Specialists 1 - 1 Us

Bent for them & Young for us.

They looked pretty pants on Monday and Bent looks like he's carrying an injury and they're very reliant on him 0-2 the Villa

I fancy us for this one as Sunderland may be decent, but they're not great, and we're playing too well to go three without a win.

1-2 Villa.  Bent for them and Ash for us plus a defender (Collins?) from a set piece.

Lawro's said 2-0 Sunderland, who don't have a good winning record but "should put that right here". Now I don't mind predicting we'll lose, but that's what you say about Chelsea at home to Wigan, not a clearly tight game between two good sides...

Ah f**k it, I've given up caring about him. Life's too short to go around complaining about Mark F**king Lawrenson.

I think we’ll win too. We’ve got a good record up there, I think things are starting to click, we’re looking a bit more solid and now we just need to take a few more of those chances we create.

tough place to go, but we have a good record there. They have a good forward line, but in my opinon are suspect everywhere else. A hard fought 2-1 win.

Heskey to return with a goal and Ash.

I think we will win this one 3-0

I admire your optimism, we might do and I hope we do but what is that based on? Our rampant goal scoring form, Sunderland's ability to leak goals at home or some other factor!

Saw fist-face on tv earlier suggesting that while he was at the Slummers they had a chance to 'overtake' Villa in the league and in the city. What a fuckwit.
So based on that kind of comment I would like us to do them 10-0. However more realistically, 2-1 Villa win will do.

What is going on here? A draw, Sunderland are gonna win. Come on lads. After that performance last week we'll take Sunderland 2-0. Ireland and Heskey, or Carew.
