The official website has the menu for healthy foods with Villa vitality !
http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~2125220,00.html
Ashley Youngs chicken stir fry £3-25
John Carews beef lasagne £3-25
No mention of Milners Macaroni im afraid.
-
... and vastly overpriced. How surprising.
-
How much are Heskey's dumplings?
To be fair, that lot looks pretty good.
-
Not really more so than anywhere else. Had the stirfry on Saturday and it was very nice. Glad there's more of a choice now.
-
No sign of MON's bottled chicken?
-
I love pies and pies love me........sadly.
-
I could not give up the balti pies.
-
... and vastly overpriced. How surprising.
That's a joke right?

It's not that pricey if you compare it to Cinema food or other sporting events. Which is to say, it's still a complete rip off, but it's taking the market price...

Despite not tasting Carews beef lasagne I think £3.25 is pretty good value. I'd imagine Big John is pretty handy in the kitchen.

I'm sure he enjoys a good roast every now and then
-
On the whole prices don't look too bad - £2.50 for a glass of fruit juice or £2.00 for a bottle of water though?
-
They look decent value compared to other leisure industry outlets and it makes a change to have stuff that isn't just pies, chips and burgers.
-
It's what a lot of us have been banging on about, so fair play to the club.
-
I hope it's a successful scheme. I'll be sticking to the e-coli burgers outside the ground though.
-

Very good sir.
-
I'll be giving them a miss thanks!! Pie & Bovril, standing on the terraces......ahhh good old days!!!
Salad bowl with tuna washed down with Rainforest alliance filtered coffee........errrrr no thanks!!!
Football used to be a proper day out............not anymore, gone forever!!!

Very good indeed Mark.
I think it's an excellent initiative by the club. Well done.
-
Some others off the new menu
Sidwell's Ginger brittle
Salifou's ashtray on a motorbike omelette
Heskey's Underworld Born Slippy Lard infused with Saffron - Overly heavy, terrible and hideously expensive
Curtis's ploughmans pub lunch
-
Good idea. I will partake.
-
Just noticed this thread. I sell organic fruit and vegetables, free range chicken, harpoon caught whalemeat (Damon made me say that) and all sorts of vegan wholefoods to the brainiest of the brainy in Cambridge. I see a business opportunity here. I shall write to the club forthwith.
I shall continue to eat at Charlie's but as they say, money speaks all languages.
What a neat thought, making a few quid out of the Villa after seven decades (nearly) of them making money out of me.

Err no .....
-
Looks good to me. As a non tea, coffee or lager/beer drinker, it's nice to have a few more choices than fizzy drinks.
-
I asked for the MON right back special and was told it was was off!!!!!
-
They seem to have removed Martin's boiled cabbage and potatoes (served cold) off the menu.
-
I'll certainly be supporting the initiative.....well done Villa !!
-
Looks a nice change to the hot dogs and pies for those that need to eat during the game. Not sure how you can say the food is overpriced though, it compares favourably to the vast majority of high street sandwich shops and shit-in-a-tray merchants.
-
Way to go :D
-
In addition to Ashley Youngs chicken stir fry and John Carews beef lasagne.
May i suggest the following:-
Dwight Yorkeshire Pudding
Billy Walker Crisps
Steven Ireland(Irish) Stew
Juan Pablo Angel Delight
Bobby Campbells Soup
Steve Frogatt Legs
Barry Toad in the Hole
-
About time we all got healthy.
I'm only eating a Rustlers burger as i type this as i'm a huge fan of irony and hypocrisy

Now I can drive my best mate nuts on the Holte having a healthy half time snack rather than chips. If I had a choice between paying £2.00 for a glass of coke and £2.50 for a glass of Orange juice, I'd take the latter all game. You don't need chips or healthy grub to have a good time, but the extra choice is good

Where's the prawn sandwiches?
