Newcastle away would be Sunday anyway because of our Europa Leage game.  As would Everton at home.

I dont think TV games have been announced yet.

Everton at home on a Sunday for TV (gotta miss that for Leeds festival anyway)

Stoke away on a Monday night.

Rest are nothing out of the ordinary.

Second City derby not on TV...

Someone at Sky has a bet on about getting games played at every possible time of the day, other than 3PM on a Saturday?

From that it looks as though we're going to go a long time without any Saturday 3pm home games. Early-October to mid-December.

Edit: Just had a proper look. Bolton on Sept 18 is Saturday 3pm at home. The next one, assuming it ain't moved (and I imagine it will be), is Albion on December 11th. If it is moved then its either an FA Cup 3rd round game or Man City in late January - so potentially four-and-a-half months without a home Saturday 3pm game.

It can't be done on the train.

The first train gets in at 1332.

Saturday overnight stop for that one then.

The lack of Saturday 3pm games is ridiculous. Seriously thinking of returning my season ticket and getting a refund.

Anyone know what round we enter the Europa League and therefore which games will move to Sunday as a result?

Just found it on the OS (maybe should have looked first!):-

Europa League Play-Off: First Leg
Aston Villa v ELPO Qualifier [TBC]
Either Thursday August 19 or Thursday August 26

So as Newcastle & Everton have already been moved nothing else to change there.

If we get into the Europa League we'll have even less games on saturday. My mate who is an Everton fan said last season they ended up with about 3 games played on a Saturday at 3pm he has had a season ticket for years but has cancelled it now because of this.

If the club are going to give out a free travel game this year, that's the one to pick.

Utterly ludicrous scheduling.

Agree. It's going to be a bloody early start for those going on coaches. I vowed never to go again unless they moved the away fans lower down. We were stupidly high up.

I don't know why everyone's getting their knickers in a knot. This happens every year, it's the nature of the game and another reason why I gave up my season ticket a few years ago.

It doesn't mean my support for the team has diminished, just that I refuse to be regularly inconvenienced to persue what, essentially, is a leisure activity. And for what? More cash for c**ts like Wayne Rooney? No thanks.

I've found something else football related to do at 3pm on a Saturday, and if anybody finds themselves at a loose end why not try your local non-league club?

There's no guarantee of a great game but it does the heart good to see some genuine application and effort.

If we qualify for Europa league, the games moved from the Sat would be nearly all Away ones . Dates are Europa fixture dates...games are currently those for the following fixture which would be moved

16/9 ...H Bolton
30/9...A Spurs
21/10....A S'land
4/11...A Fulham
1-2 Dec ....A L'pool
15-16 Dec....A Wigan

Were not the only ones, Remember when Pompey had to be at VP for 12.30 that one time. Still they won so bet it was worth it. It pisses me off getting to VP that early and im not far away.

Actually haven't we played Newcastle at 12.30 also?

Lots of messy crossings out all over my day to view diary now. Every year the day the fixtures come out, I sit down and write them all in so then everything else in my life can fit in round them. Why dont I wait till the tv and police do their worst? Why dont I at least use a pencil? Will i ever learn?

Oh for the days of 3 o clock kick offs on a Saturday afternoon- I think many of us don't bother with season tickets now as a result of the tv resheduling of games .
