As the Boss has now ventured into Twitter territory, this might be of some interest aswell to newer members:

We're also on Facebook! (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5627145563)

(Apologies for earlier posting cock-ups)

Is there any plans for a H&V "Fan" Page, which can be used to post status updates much like Twitter?

Doesn't knowing what everyone looks like kinda kill the mystery of H&V ?

I mean, its OK for Clooney-esque types like myself, but what about all the fat, bald blokes with glasses ?

That's a good point, also 'Fan Pages' - unlike 'groups' - push stories to your news feed.  So someone could import an RSS feed of the top stories from on here (maybe from the front page?), and it would appear in your news feed on facebook in between pictures of your ex girfriend and you mate telling everyone how drunk he got last night.

It's a sure fire winner.  Probably.

That's why I went for a profile picture that I'm not in!

I'll join that but my identity will remain secret. My name's not actually Des Little.  Clever and cunning eh?

Go HERE (http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php?campaign_id=368885149649&placement=pgall&extra_1=1) and follow the instructions.  It's essentially the same process as setting up a group, just easier for fans to interact.

All set up and ready to go. Now what do I do, in terms of 'promoting' H&V?

Post a link on this thread and possibly the other H&V group with the number of people from here on the site who are friends with one another it will soon spread around even to those who miss the link.

Here it is (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Heroes-and-Villains/129445223749711)

I meant what to do with the page itself in terms of layout, posts etc.
