In Ibis hotel near SAW airport, have breakfast, then taxi back to SAW airport to get onto one of the shuttle buses into Taksim Square. Let the festivities and (hopefully) joy begin.

In bed, my arthritic knee, was painful last night. I will stumble out later and the Villa lads will make me feel better.

My lads in Istanbul and he has sent photos, looks ace, so have fun everyone

I'm in Jersey on a holiday, carelessly booked last year without consideration. I've found a sports bar a mile away in which to watch the game tonight, and my memories of this holiday will ultimately be determined by the result later.
