Welcome to GUESS THE CROWD Round 27; ASTON VILLA v Liverpool FC at 8 pm on Friday, 15th May!! 🥧
The Villa start this match fifth and level on points with Liverpool in the PL. So, it’s time for the Lions to roar again 🦁 on Friday night as we claim fourth place!
It’s also time for Unai’s legendary vision, experience and expert preparation to inspire our lads to see off this lot. COYVB!!

There’s a new figure for the capacity of VP since last season.
The FA Handbook for 2025/26 says it is 43,205. The link to this is in the OP of the GTC Divisions, rules, points and bonuses thread.
HOWEVER, the corners of VP have just disappeared in early summer expansion building works. The impact of this development on the figure above is er, anybody’s guess! Good luck!

Just as an aside, during the Spurs game, they announced the attendance during the second half which I thought was a welcome return to the days when they did that all the time.
I haven't heard it done since then unless I've missed it.

It used to appear in the match thread; PWS would post it and it was very helpful for early GTC scores!
They stopped announcing it for a while and didn’t tell anybody the attendance for weeks, at one point! I seem to remember this emerged as an issue a couple of seasons ago.
Think it had something to do with the FA not needing the final figure as promptly, iirc.

They stopped announcing when Heck introduced his GA+ and nobody took up the offer.
