I'm sorry, she's not dead yet, but my Granny is defying medical science.
Declared palliative, eight days unconscious, on morphine, no food or fluids, no drip.
But ten minutes ago, when I asked my Mom to hold the phone up to her ear, and I said 'up the fucking Villa' her eyelids apparently flickered, which was the first movement from her in four days.

That's tough to deal with, sorry mate. (Not the Villa bit, although they can be tough to deal with, too).
-
Thanks mate.
There's no question of her getting better, but somehow, she's still going.
I'm thinking about looking up what the Guinness world record is for surviving without fluids.

Nah, it's a bit disingenuous to put her here, in all honesty. I wouldn't have if it weren't for my Mom assuring me that my 'UTFV' over the phone got the first physical response out of her for days.
She became the most casual of casual supporters after my oldest uncle started following Villa, and later my Mom (their middle brother is a nose, but a decent one).
I was her first grandson and I think she just liked seeing me happy when Villa made me happy, really.
