Fine with that. Maatsen and Ross get a run out, and Mings in to deal with Mr. Brobbey.

Pau injured??? Or perhaps, Mings strength preferred against Mr Blobby.

Not thrilled about Mings playing, but hopefully it limits his passing to just giving it to Tielemans. Win please.

Mings was missing against Forest. It might just be giving certain players a full break whilst not having as many spots available on the prem league bench for a full squad.

Not completely on him, but he was quite shit in both.

Look, he’s a good replacement centre half, but think people would just prefer our best players in the team.

Jacob Tanswell saying Pau is out because Emery wants to rotate the squad.

Put him on bench then. His passing skills going to be a miss today I fear. Luiz seems to have slipped down pecking order. More required from Tielemans and Barkley today than what they showed v Forest. Still think we look very strong and should win today with a bit to spare. 4-2

He’s not a bad player but our game certainly isn’t a fluid with him in it. Our style or being a CL chasing side might just have passed Tyrone by. Tremendous servant but not at the required level for us anymore. He’d probably be just the kind of player and leader Coventry might need in their first season back up.

Right now this is reminding me of the first leg in Bologna. They're working harder than us but that comes with a risk of space opening up for us later.

They're really fit though, they score most of their goals in the second half.

This performance of ours is sadly typical of when Mings is in for Pau, or even Lindelof. We don't look solid defensively and we don't look very creative either.

I don't think we have played that well but have scored two excellent goals. I suspect we will have to score another to win the game. Rogers grew into the game and Maatsen is a real threat.

Bless the Lord Tuchel dropped Ollie from World Cup squad as it has given him the kick up the backside he needed.
