Done.

What a great read, all relatively recent memories but some I’ve banished from my Villa memory bank. Some of those goalkeepers make me shudder and break out in a cold sweat even now.

Great to see some recognition for Jed, he is up there with the unsung heroes of the last 10 years. The only goalkeeper we had between Friedel and Martinez who looked consistently competent and not prone to an absolute howler in every game, plus deserves legendary status for the stare-down in the penalties against the Stripey Filth.
Had he not had so much bad luck with injuries I genuinely think he would have had a great career, and probably would have plenty of England caps by now when you look at the state of some of the goalkeepers that have played for the national team in that time - he is/was a much better goalkeeper than Sam Johnstone, for instance.

Some save from Dwight Gayle in playoffs when we were on the ropes.

Enjoyed that. Where's Part Two?

Being written, probably.

This must be how George R. R. Martin fans feel.
