Sadly we have lost another Holte-ender in big Dave Turner on 26/03/2026

He lived in Woodgate Valley, but later moved to Hodge Hill. Dave always carried a plastic carrier bag of old Villa programmes and basically collected anything with a connection to the Villa going home and away for many, many years.
Everyone in the Lower Holte L3 will miss you Dave.

Funeral is on Friday 1st May at 12.30 at Perry Barr Crem with a wake at the Holiday Inn by junction 7 on the Birmingham Road.

RIP Dave and thanks for the memories going away watching the Villa especially Southampton away(lost 6-1)a week before the FA Cup Final !
