Bogey at RB, yay....
-
I guess the rumours about Cash having a hamstring problem were true then.
-
Bogey at RB, yay....
Hmm. Surprised with Mings picked over Torres again too.
-
Fuck, Cash being out is a massive blow. Surprised Mings starts too.
Just win the game Villa.
-
I guess the rumours about Cash having a hamstring problem were true then.
Tanswell says it is a knee Injury & Cash hopes to return for the Leeds game
-
I guess the rumours about Cash having a hamstring problem were true then.
Out for a couple of games according to Tanwell, bruised knee.
-
If I get my hands on that aldridgeboy fella, why I'll....
*He follows in a proud tradition of Villa ITKs.
-
This season's going down the shitter. Injuries are too much to cope with.
-
Alysson on the bench, our new Brazilian superstar is ready to go.
-
Fuck sake, no RB when Cash is out... and why Mings instead of Pow?
-
Knowing our luck Pau is carrying a knock so is only there in case of emergency. Which will probably happen.
-
When is McGinn back?
-
Knowing our luck Pau is carrying a knock so is only there in case of emergency. Which will probably happen.
That’d be my suspicion, or they’re proactively managing minutes.
-
So much for 2 specialists for each position.
Garcia being honed from the same crystal as Onana is a shitter.
-
Our injuries this side of Christmas have been awful. Last season it was summer leading up to the transfer window.
Come on Villa, let’s just get out there and play some lovely football again!
-
Oh look, another injury. Marvellous.
-
Come on Villa, please just win!!
-
Wow, well - good luck, all. I thought we'd see Tammy starting but what the hell do I know?!
-
Ollie Watkins needs a great game tonight. He really does.
-
I guess the rumours about Cash having a hamstring problem were true then.

Look on the positive side and think of it as (enforced) rotation for one league game. He's played a lot of minutes, so a two week break at this stage of the season isn't the end of the world.
-
Is Garcia injured again?
-

After Christmas last year we ran out of centre backs and ended up playing Digne and Kamara at centre back.
-
So long as it is actually 2 weeks.
-
Hopefully Matty is back fit by the world cup. In 2030.
-

Yep! I don't know whether to be thankful that we've done so well with injuries up to Christmas, or curse our luck since! Let's go for both!
-
Is Garcia injured again?
Yep. Less reliable than Onana.

I’m sure we got everyone finally fit around February, but we struggled up to then with our defence being a different back four every match and missed Kamara for a huge chunk.

How is Mings ahead of Lindelof?
-
How is Mings ahead of Lindelof?
This is a conundrum
-
Hmm - not the team I would have gone with.
Want to see Luiz and Onana control the midfield - I think that will be key. Winston at RB could be an issue
Would have gone with Tammy - but Watkins loves a goal against Brighton. UTV
-
Torres has to be carrying an injury?
-
Bogarde at right back is an accident waiting to happen. Really poor choice putting him out there.
-
That’s a poor side on paper, trying to stay optimistic but disappointed no Pau or Tammy starting.
-
Ah, Van Hecke. A lovable chap.
-
It’s a bit bonkers that governing bodies are keen for clubs to play a million games a season but won’t let some teams invest in players to do that. Complete con.
-

Torres hasnt been great lately to be fair, Newcastle and Brentford a bit meh. But I'd be a bit worried about Mings hitting the red zone himself tonight in terms of fatigue/injury - must be his fourth game in about three weeks since coming back from a long injury. Would have thought Torres was a cert to come back in.
Luiz - third game in 11 days too.
That Bogarde/Sancho flank could be a dead zone tonight. Getting Lindelof back in and switching Konsa over to RB would have been more logical. Bogarde was completely lost v Salzburg at RB.
-
Last time we lost 3 in a row at home in the league was 2020, and the third side was Brighton.
-

:(
On the bright side, we managed to stay up!
-
It makes me think that Unai and the coaching team push these guys to the limits to the extent they burn out. Maybe that’s the only way to get them playing at a level to compete with more expensive squads.
-
On the plus side we've already qualified for the CL so Saul Goodman.
-
How is Mings ahead of Lindelof?
This is a conundrum
No, Ty and Pow are left-footed and Lindelof and Konsa right-sided. Lind only played on the left when the two choices there were crocked.
-

There was a stat that came out that our players cover the least amount of ground of any team in the league, and that we press the 3rd lowest amount of any team.
-

Makes sense
-
How is Mings ahead of Lindelof?
Victor refused to look Unai in the eye.
-
No queues at the Witton Arms again. The Warehouse Kwikfit seems to have nabbed a lot of its customers.
I don’t mind Mings and Konsa - last season they were so solid together in the second half of the season but not so convinced about Bogarde, Onana and Watkins.
We’ll see!
-
Konsa at RB would've been a better option with Lindelof at RCB.
I think he'll have a tough night against Mitoma.
-
Can we get this stickied.....?
-
And of course, the latest player injured is one we don't have a top class replacement for.
Fuck off injury gods.
-
It’s a bit bonkers that governing bodies are keen for clubs to play a million games a season but won’t let **most** teams invest in players to do that. Complete con.
Indeed.
-
Its funny that Konsa played a lot at right back - buut hasnt since Carlos left - I think Linderlof is at least as good as Carlos.
-
Emery keeps mentioning the supporters "energy" more so that ever. I bet it's a fucking morgue tonight, hope not, but I bet it is.
-
Kendrick has as well
Mat Kendrick - Football editor, Birmingham Live
I've been banging on about the Villa Park atmosphere - or lack of it - lately. And with three home games in 10 days I'm at it again. We're still in the Champions League places, still in the FA Cup and through to the knockout stages of the Europa League.
We're still on the verge of making this an historic season and as Aston Villa supporters we really need to play our part. In my opinion the responsibility for driving this team over the line lies as much with us in the stands as it does with Unai Emery in the dugout and the players on the pitch.
The club has done its bit to put us in a fantastic position by giving us a world-class manager and a brilliant squad, but too often us fans seem infected by nervousness. It’s not that there's the presence of negativity at VP, it’s more an absence of positivity that settles over the ground.
We’ve got to get past this mental block where we only find our voices for the massive grudge matches or when there's a scalp. It's easy as a fanbase to be up for it against our bogey team Manchester United or league leaders Arsenal. How do we summon up similar fervour for less animosity fixtures against lower profile opponents?
Every single game is high jeopardy because the stakes are so high, but that seems to promote anxiety rather than excitement. I've heard the argument that football is so methodical that it's hard to crank up the atmosphere when the centre-backs are passing between themselves. Surely the onus is on us to fill those lulls with chants of positivity?
The players clearly feed off us, too. Why do you think Emi Martinez tries to whip up the Holte after making a big save or Matty Cash does likewise with the Trinity after a crunching tackle? It does make a difference, it must make a difference. Even Ollie Watkins referenced the flat atmosphere recently.
We need to ditch that damaging sense of entitlement and stop waiting for the team to entertain us before we decide to get loud. It's hard. We're a collective, but we're also a crowd made up of 40,000 individuals with different stresses, strains and ways of supporting our team.
I’ll be the first to admit my own matchday inhibitions. I don’t start chants at the top of the Trinity for fear of being on my own (or waking up my neighbours!). But each of us, in our own special way, needs to bring the same energy we demand of our heroes.
If any of them went missing they'd get a 5 out of 10 player rating or lower, but what about us? What do we need to do to get a 10 out of 10 fan rating? It’s time to park the anxiety, forget the hard day at work, and really bring the noise for these final home games.
Up the Villa 🦁

Even though Lindelof and Konsa have looked more assured than Mings and Konsa?

Up the Villa 🦁
Agred with him for years on this.
-
I always worry about our ability to get control of the game and get quality passing going with Tielemans and Pau. Hope tonight works out we could really do with a win.
-
Is the atmosphere thing linked to the price going up?
-
I always worry when the pre-match is thread is stickied, and this isn't.
-
Smash the granny out of them Villa!!
-
This ref falls for every hand covering the face scream. Never lets it flow.
-
Yeahh get your cards out.
-
Baleba booked
-
Don’t send him off!

-
Empty seats my lord
-
A yellow card after 1min 52secs, is that a world record?
-
Peter Bankes gets a yellow card out after 2 minutes .. wow.
-
A yellow card after 1min 52secs, is that a world record?
It’d be up there with the most throw ins in first 2 mins of a game…
-
Well done ref he didn’t bottle that
-
Obviously the ref has forgotten yellow cards are barred until 25 mins into a match.
-
Disgusting that he didn't let the game flow early.
-
Disgusting that he didn't let the game flow early.
Disgrace.
-
Better
-
A yellow card after 1min 52secs, is that a world record?
It’d be up there with the most throw ins in first 2 mins of a game…
And two foul throws in the first five minutes! This lot are blose.
-
And the long throws are being properly policed as well. Maybe PGMOL have decided to try to make up for their failings the last month.
-
Obviously the ref has forgotten yellow cards are barred until 25 mins into a match.
Depends on the oppo.
A Redscouse or Yanited player def wouldn't have been carded.
-
Nice from Sancho there. Running at 'em. Excellent.
-
Baleba should be off
-
Brighton could have been down to 10 men already. Our kryptonite.
-
Don't really want Baleba to get a red, we're shite vs 10.
-
TBF, I doubt Brighton know how to shut up shop like Brentford can.
-
Seems Sancho is up for it today.
-
TBF, I doubt Brighton know how to shut up shop like Brentford can.
Tru dat.
-
Forgot welbeck is playing. 0-2
-
It's all a bit scruffy innit?
-
Pitch seems a bit puddingey
-
Comms fucked up with only Ty and Mcginn being the only players left from the play off final team.
-
Milner coming on it seems.
-
For baleba?
-
Sancho and Luiz have started well
-
Prefer that from Ollie a first time effort than, trap, chase the ball that wasn't trapped, touch, chase the touch and dribble, chase the dribble...
-
Not seen a foul throw in years then two in 5 mins...
-
He's so ropey on the ball Ty.
-
Brighton are pressing quite high. They might tire a bit in the second half.
-
We look nowhere near as sharp as we usually do at home. Bastard injuries.
-
Sancho doing well
-
So he books Baleba in the first minute and should have booked him again, Hinchelwoood was lucky as well considering what went before.
-
Think Sanchos looked lively!
-
Close from Roger’s
-
Brighton are pressing quite high. They might tire a bit in the second half.
Very nervy at the back too
-
This is the best I've seen of Sancho since...god knows when...
-
So subdued there, fucking third ffs.
-
What a pass from Martinez
-
Sancho has been good, but it’s been flat
-
Baleba off, Milner on
-
Dougie sort your passing out...
-
Doug's passing has been a tad iffy so far.
-
Any win will do tonight Villa.
-
Any win will do tonight Villa.
And any day or night.
-
If we don't beat a team with a grandad that needs a zimmerframe then we're doomed.
-
Well done James Milner
-
Veltman booked.
-
Brighton are dirty feckers
-
About the 5th no look pass from Luiz so far.
-
Clearly dont know our record against 10
-
Good refereeing so far!
-
Another scissors tackle on one of our players
-
Clearly dont know our record against 10
Maybe Brighton do though, and are trying to get to their winning position as quickly as possible
-
Wouldn't have wanted to James Milner to achieve his record anywhere else but here. One ex-Villa player draws level with another...
-
Niggly fuckers these
-
Another scissors tackle on one of our players
Could easily have been a red, horrible tackle.
-
Dirty wankers
-
Wouldn't have wanted to James Milner to achieve his record anywhere else but here. One ex-Villa player draws level with another...
If he had come on during the weekend he would have been breaking the record against us.
-
Can we ,you know, play a bit further up the pitch
-
This is boring
-
No chance BHA are finishing this game with 11
-
Again, why even bother running with it Ollie?
-
We’re big a patch on what we were.
-
Tammy.Now.Please
-
Dear me Watkins
-
Can we ,you know, play a bit further up the pitch
Brighton are forcing us back, but it's energy-sapping and they probably won't be able to keep it up for ninety minutes.
-
Watkins making me look like a pro baller.
-
Our once great team.
-
We're going down next season.
-
Agree :-)
-
I never thought I would live to see us third in the league and favourites for a European trophy yet there would be so much doom and gloom around.
-
I never thought I would live to see us third in the league and favourites for a European trophy yet there would be so much doom and gloom around.
We neee to be transported back a decade
-
Dear me Watkins
The team needed it. It was unsung.
-
We really struggle to get the ball on target...only the 24 foot to aim for.
-
I never thought I would live to see us third in the league and favourites for a European trophy yet there would be so much doom and gloom around.
We're not fickle, we just don't like success.
-
Need to get Rogers and Buendia more involved but I think we are doing well. Bogarde going ok, defensive shape solid. Brighton are very nervous
-
I wonder who our next manager will be.
-
I think were doing fine - we look much more threatening - hopefully something clicks before half time
-
I wonder who our next manager will be.
De Zerbi. See my support for him in other games.
-
I want Mike Walker
-
Maatsen v. good so far
-
Bring Southgate home!!
-
Needed Pau to get the ball down the channels.
-
Konsas dead.
-
I know it's not a particular insightful point, but Kamara and Tielemans would have us three up against this high press so far.
-
Is Buendia on the pitch!
-
I know it's not a particular insightful point, but Kamara and Tielemans would have us three up against this high press so far.
I was thinking that. Onana makes me nervous when he drops so deep. Luiz tends to pass sideways rather than forward. Me really miss them pair.
-
I know it's not a particular insightful point, but Kamara and Tielemans would have us three up against this high press so far.
Massive misses. Best player overall and additionally last seasons best player.
-
Can never be a foul
-
What a bitty match
-
I want white braids Dougie back. The R2 it in the corner Doug.
-
Needed Pau to get the ball down the channels.
Yep, Mings too easy to press against on a sticky pitch.
-
The proverbial needing it to go in off someone’s backside needed here.
-
39 mins and 1 shit on target
-
39 mins and 1 shit on target
That's pooh
-
Maatsen v. good so far
No right foot.
-
Douglas and the Dying swan.
-
Van Hecke desperate to fall to the ground before Ty held him up
-
Aggro
-
39 mins and 1 shit on target
I hope you did get it on target!
-
Emi and VanH booked
-
Emi knows exactly what he's doing there.
-
Maatsen v. good so far
No right foot.
Good left foot
-
This is our bad half.
-
39 mins and 1 shit on target
That's pooh
Our performances have gone down the pan.
-
Pray for Hecke.
-
Going to be a red soon
-
Van Hecke desperate to fall to the ground before Ty held him up
Good from Onana too, sticking himself between Emi and their dickbag
-
Emi and VanH booked
Nothing in that at all.
-
They offered nothing - we just need to focus on our game
-
39 mins and 1 shit on target
I'm sure your wife will be very happy about that .
-
Brighton singing "dirty northern bastards".How dare they. We're Mercians.
-
39 mins and 1 shit on target
in sure your wife will be very happy about that .
2 teams, 1 shit...what a great viral video that was.
-
Pau would help
-
Needs to be a lot quicker from us
-
Brighton singing "dirty northern bastards".How dare they. We're Mercians.
Everything's north for them
-
Bendy shoots
-
Awful, too sloppy and casual. Brighton are all over us when we have the ball, we need to be quicker.
-
Can't Doug just pass it without flicking his head in the opposite direction on every pass.
-
Pau would help
Pau, Tammy and Leon for Ollie, Buendia and Mings I reckon
-
Close from Little Emi
-
We’re the better side. It just feels some of the belief has leaked with the injuries and recent home defeats. A couple of key wins this week and we will back on track.
-
Brighton singing "dirty northern bastards".How dare they. We're Mercians.
Everything's north for them
Isle of Wight?
-
Pau would help
Pau, Tammy and Leon for Ollie, Buendia and Mings I reckon
Not Bailey. Please
-
Can't Doug just pass it without flicking his head in the opposite direction on every pass.
You could have finished that comment in 4 words.
-
Pau would help
Pau, Tammy and Leon for Ollie, Buendia and Mings I reckon
Leon? Really??!
-
This is the most anti football match I’ve ever seen.
Pulis & Allardyce would be creaming their pants.
-
Sloppy in midfield and lacking spark up front
-
Watkins has been shite.
-
Tammy would link up with Morgan much better than Ollie...he's got concrete clogs on again.
-
What a right niggly bunch of bastards they are
-
Luiz showing why he couldn't get in a shit Forest side.
-
Watkins better not come back out after HT. It ain’t gonna happen for him today.
-
Why didn't Dougie just shoot?!
-
Watkins has to come off. He's having another terrible game. Tammy on please.
-
Golden chance there but of course we muck rhe passing up
-
Crowd annoying me.
-
Can't Doug just pass it without flicking his head in the opposite direction on every pass.
You could have finished that comment in 4 words.
Stop no look pass!?
-
HT. Get all 11 off!!!
-
Why didn't Dougie just shoot?!
Should have, Rogers def shouldn't be passing there either.
-
Golden chance there but of course we muck the passing up
-
This is a classic.
-
Watkins has been universally poor in that half.
-
Why didn't Dougie just shoot?!
He was looking the other way.
-
Brighton singing "dirty northern bastards".How dare they. We're Mercians.
Everything's north for them
Isle of Wight?
This is why you should never wear tight underwear when ordering paint.
-
Soporific.
-
Watkins is dire, everything good ends when he gets the ball.
-
Watkins has worked hard with little support.
We’re playing around the back when we don’t have the defenders or midfielders to do it.
Onana showing again he’s hopeless when we dominate possession. Sancho only bright spot!
-
Watkins better not come back out after HT. It ain’t gonna happen for him today.
I think you will be disappointed.
-
Awful.
So
Many players totally ineffective and onana and Luiz are far too negative.
Of all the players we are missing, tielemans is the biggest loss
-
Approx 250 mins without scoring a league goal at VP.
-
Why do we never see the stat for how much time the ball is in play? I reckon half of that first half may have had no football played in it. Stop-start as fuck.
Their big lads are happy to reduce it to duels, we need to find a bit of guile to win this.
-
Watkins has been universally poor in that half.
If we're being honest, apart from the odd bright spark, he's been pretty shit all season.
-
Well their game plan was to wind us up and make it niggly and bitty. And so far they’ve succeeded. Ref needs to get a stronger grip. At least we have game changers on the bench this time
-
Sancho is one of our best players at the moment.
-
Sancho is one of our best players at the moment.
Explains why we're shit.
-
Watkins has been universally poor in that half.
If we're being honest, apart from the odd bright spark, he's been pretty shit all season.
Yep. He has.
-
They’ll sit back and be cynical until 70 minutes. Then start having a go. Then Michael Robinson will pop up with a goal.
-
Watkins has been universally poor in that half.
If we're being honest, apart from the odd bright spark, he's been pretty shit all season.
I note nobody ever mentions his peerless parallel parking.
-
The ref was the best performer that half.
-
Luiz showing why he couldn't get in a shit Forest side.
Really? Set pieces havent been great but I think he's played well. Gets turned on ball nicely in midfield under pressure. Something Onana isn't capable of.
Rogers, Buendia, Watkins particularly been poor. Martinez annoying me a bit too delaying his distribution letting these cloggers push up.
Wouldn't change it at half time but Barkley in for Buendia with Rogers shifting left is a likely early change. Torres for Mings too, that might be the braver tactical call. Mings has been decent defensively but a real struggle to play out with him.
-
Watkins has lost all his sharpness. Playing on his heels or not reacting at all.
-
Sancho is one of our best players at the moment.
I could see him and Rogers developing a very good chemistry. I’ve been unimpressed with him generally, but he’s improved a lot. Fair play.
-
Another 1st half never looking like scoring and almost giving one away at the back
If that fucker Welbeck scores from a defensive cock up I will kick the TV through
-
Sancho is one of our best players at the moment.
Fuck me.
-
Need to hook Ollie on 60-65 if there isn't an uplift.
Rogers not too clever that half either, TBH.
-
Looking forward to seeing Abraham tonight. I think he'll score if he comes on.
-
Sancho is one of our best players at the moment.
Scary.
And it's not as if he's been a whole pile better than he has been throughout the season.
He's just giving the ball a way a little less often than the others tonight.
-
why did we start with watkins
Id have started barkley than buendia
Im only watching on phone in pub but having watched Brighton on sunday , this is pretty crap..
sort it out unai
-
Sancho is one of our best players at the moment.
I could see him and Rogers developing a very good chemistry. I’ve been unimpressed with him generally, but he’s improved a lot. Fair play.
Been one of our better players and he’s, so far, looking to do something positive rather than just recycle possession. He’s faded a bit mainly because he’s not getting the ball enough now.
-
Terrible half. We never got going, too slow in possession all over the park.
Players need to step up. Take some responsibility and try and create something.
They can't rely on Rogers all of the time. One thing for sure, if they play like this they have no chance of getting top 5. We can all put our calculators and spreadsheets away.

BT struggling to find any highlights for HT
-
Approx 250 mins without scoring a league goal at VP.
Against poor opposition. I fear not winning this would leave us feeling more than just a bit sorry for ourselves.
-
having the bonus of manure and chavski dropping points , I really thought these lot would be up for it..
-
looking at the other scores we really are missing a trick
Get the fuck in there and start scoring fucking goals
-
If ever there was a game we needed Pau playing in, it is this one.
I don't want to bandwagon, but Ollie has been crap.
-
Safety first football.Unai needs to free us from this style.

Dig out a dirty 1-0 or 2-0 and we won't care.
-
225 minutes without a home league goal. As we won every game at home for that stretch I could never imagine that stat as we lined up to play Everton, Brentford and Brighton.
-
This is a Brighton side with 1 win in 12 league games, and that was at home to relegated Burnley.
-
This is one of those Wake me up before you go,go matches.
-
Looking forward to seeing Abraham tonight. I think he'll score if he comes on.
With no service, I don't see how.
-

It's more than that, the end of the Forest game plus time added on in each half.
-
We seem scared of going forward in any number. Always looking for a sideways or backwards pass. Must get some enthusiasm into our game.
-
Safety first football.Unai needs to free us from this style.
I know he always tries to temper expectations but if you repeat to players and fans we are not contenders does it start to bed in to the collective psyche?

Yeh, not making me feel any better. This is so limp. It also didn’t feel like we had 10 shots in the first half seeing as only 1 was on target and the other 9 were so tame.

Yeah, its the one thing about him I don't like
-
Amadou Tonev.
-
Unsustainable xG catching up to us 😉.
-
I’m sensing there’s going to be a monumental defensive fuck up this half
-
Our second string midfield's decidedly meh.
-
Ffs Onana, please stop!
-
absolute crap
-
Next time the crowd tell you to shoot Onana, don't
-
Real Madrid are on the phone.
-
Book Mitoma for the imaginary card then.
-
Bogarde being targeted early on
-
Silly yellow for Morgan.
-
Tammy for Ollie, Bailey for Beundia
-
If ever there was a game we needed Pau playing in, it is this one.

agree
-
Crowd turning a tad.
-
We’re proving all those who doubted us they were correct. Part of the doubt was if we got injuries would we be able to stay the course? Obviously not by the recent results and inconsistencies. But the xg thing as annoying as it is provides some indication of chance creation leading to goals. And once the long range bombs stopped it exposed that we don’t create good chances and when we get them we don’t take them.

No coincidence this follows ditching a very strong attacking threat in Malen.
-
El Crapico.
-
Crowd turning a tad.
Mings fucking about when he had oasses on
-
Our tactic to constantly kick it long from a goal kick means we are giving the ball away 95% of the time. It's not working currently, our midfield need to take some responsibility for moving the ball forward. We really miss Pau's distribution!

Had we not lost the players we did in quick succession I wonder what our January would have looked like. It might not have required us to move on Malen to bring in Gallagher which turned into Tammy and Doug. Off the bench he certainly offered us a spark. Something we are sorely missing right now.
-
Tammy and Alysson on please.
-
Without Tielemans and Kamara we lose our tempo, look edgy and bereft of ideas. This is dismal so far.
-
Can't see where a goal, or even a clear chance, is coming from.
-
We seem loath to get the ball into the box
-
Without Tielemans and Kamara we lose our tempo, look edgy and bereft of ideas. This is dismal so far.
Kamara is the glue at the back that lets us push forward with confidence, Tielemans makes us risk further along. And we miss SJM massively too.
-
Is the lino fucking blind...ripping Dougs shirt off him and doesn't flag.
-
Sancho, Buendia and Watkins need to be taken off now.
-
Ross getting ready, for Luiz hopefully.
-
If they score we aint scoring 2
-
Brighton smelling blood
-
Ross getting ready, for Luiz hopefully.
No not Barkley, please not.
-
Mings needs hooking. He’s poor on the ball.
-
This is so shit.
-
Martinez does it again.
-

Yep. To lose all three one after the other is the killer. One we could have got away with. Two makes it extremely difficult but all three is just too much for the way we play.
-
We’re shocking. From fortress villa park to this…
-
And Leon. Hopefully for a corner flag.
-
Another worldy from Martinez
-
Very much sleepwalking to a defeat here if things don’t change.
-
Make a fucking change Unai
-
weve missed Cash's energy
-
Bloody hell Ty you didnt make that easy for Emi
-
Fucking hell, Baily and Barkley to give us a spark...shit!
-
Seems the 1st half might have been our good half.
-
Ross getting ready, for Luiz hopefully.
No not Barkley, please not.
cant be any worse
-
1 shot on target after an hour at home to a side with 1 win in 12
-
Ross getting ready, for Luiz hopefully.
No not Barkley, please not.
cant be any worse
He is worse, that's the problem
-
weve missed Cash's energy
Massively, need a change there asap
-
Buendia and Sancho off.
-
This is absolutely fucking shit. As dull as it possibly could be.
-
Must be near the end of the line for Sancho, diabolical since half time.
-
Another 1-0 home defeat incoming. I can feel it in my bones.
-
1 shot on target after an hour at home to a side with 1 win in 12
You’ve not been taking your happy pills tonight have you PWS
-

I think the idea was Maatsen woukd bring the energy and Bogarde stay solid.
-
Get Tammy on
-

Yes.
Which says a lot about the game.
-
Sancho a bit unlucky to be dragged.
Would have liked to have seen the wildcard of the Brazilian lad but not really UE style.
-
Another 1-0 home defeat incoming. I can feel it in my bones.
I'm going for a 1-0 scrappy home win.
A deflection or a Van Hecke own goal in the last 5 mins.
-
How is Tammy not getting a look in by now after Ollies performance tonight and Bournemouth.
-
weve missed Cash's energy
Massively, need a change there asap
I think the idea was Maatsen woukd bring the energy and Bogarde stay solid.
Bogarde loses the ball in the air constantly.
-
We just don't know how to construct moves through the middle without our three world-class midfielders. Their replacements are decent but incapable of getting on the half turn, which is what our whole attacking philosophy is based on.
-
Ross getting ready, for Luiz hopefully.
No not Barkley, please not.
cant be any worse
He is worse, that's the problem
dont think barkley has let us down when hes come on
and the players on at the moment are crap
-
To not score against Everton, Brentford and Brighton at home is horrendous. And 3 league goals in the last 5 games is really crap. 1 win in 5 if we don’t get one tonight.
-
Ross getting ready, for Luiz hopefully.

Never a fan, the first stint and now.

Maybe not Van Headcase OG then.

Well that theory is out of the window!

This is going to go go badly wrong in a minute. Brighton growing into the game.

Bogarde loses the ball in the air constantly.
Emery asleep
-
I think we're missing the influence of a few of our better players.
-
It would be nice if we score tonight.
In any way possible. Even if it comes off a bollock. A goal would be nice.
-
Easy money for the opposition goalies the last few games.
-
No enthusiasm. Unai has taken this tip tap method too far.
-
Lets pretend, lets pretend lets pretend we scored a goal......
-
Even with our injuries we should be a lot better than this. We're hardly fielding a side full of kids.
-
Playing with 10 men here with Watkins still on.
-
move heaven and hell to get Tammy ,to sit on the bench..
-
In any way possible. Even if it comes off a bollock. A goal would be nice.
Something Tammy did first time with us.
-
Look incredibly flat, might aswell give Tammy and Torres a go
-
Heads have dropped since our midfield got destroyed by injury.
The mentality we had at the start of the season has returned.
-
Holy shit Dougie, that wasn't even close.
-
Look incredibly flat, might aswell give Tammy and Torres a go
I'd give Peters and Lee a go
