It shows how much he trusts Bogarde. Onana just came back from an injury. He played midweek and given the extent of our midfield injuries we need to be able to rotate the line up. The injuries especially in midfield have really affected us. The chemistry isn’t there and with the changes we have had to make will take time to show the cohesion we had with Kamara, SJM and Youri. Having Doug back is great but he will take time to get back to his best after a period where he didn’t play well or frequently. Bogarde is a good squad player but he’s not a true difference maker. And even Tammy won’t play the Ollie role that presses teams back with his running off ball. It will take us time to get this together again. Time we don’t really have.

Yep. Not sure what Emi was supposed to do there. First thing was a cross so he went to dive in front ot Thiago, recovered quickly and then the finish was where no goal keeper would have been standing to save it.

That it took so long to determine that there was error immediately deems there not being enough definable evidence to disallow it. I know we have benefitted from VAR but the whole rule and how it’s applied is killing the game and natural joy of it.

Yeah, we're doing everything right but sometimes you can feel it slipping away.

To have one of the best home records in Europe the past 12 months, and then lose to Everton and possibly Brentford in back to back games would be horrendous.
