Emery the little scamp hinting Allyson would be involved.
That team is good enough to win this game.

Yep, best news there is on the subs bench

I am surprised that we are starting with a team that wouldn't raise an eyebrow if selected for a league match

Great to see Pau back. Would have liked to have seen Malen together with Watkins together up front.

Richarlison leading the Spursy attack. Palihnha and Gray not the greatest midfield, we should be able to get through them quite easily.

Evening

I though SJM  looked a bit leggy against Palace and thought he would get a  break and dont like little Emi starting but quite a strong line up . No brazillian on the  bench after all.

Sancho not getting a start shows how under par he has been.

I’d go as far as to say if Bouba was out for the season now we would not make top five or win the Europa League. I’m more nervous about hearing the verdict on the injury than this game.

It's a concern for sure but I wouldn't go this far.

I get his point though. If you offered me two boxes, "win today" or "Kamara available for the rest of the season" I'd pick the latter.

It was an awful challange, he should have been booked.

We dont have the advantages of the depth in squad other do.  Short of chucking a kid in what could we do.  It Barkley or Onana were not injured he probably wouldnt have played.

Kamara would be a big miss - but we managed to finish 4th with him only playing half the season.  And its the bloody FA cup - why not try to win it

This like watching England losing at home.  The fucking commentary.  Everything.  Honestly, infuriating.

TNT or BBC? TNT is pretty poor.

BBC has been excellent.

Helped by the fact that Shearer clearly loves watching us, talks like he wishes he was still playing and could be in a team like this.

Remember when we were a crap team - in the dark days -  not so long ago, we'd get taken apart just like that.

And wonder - how can they be so much better than we are?

For years and years we'd play teams that much better and it was like they were playing a different sport to us.

That's the best 45 minutes we've played this season. The difference it makes having technically talented players who are so comfortable and confident with the ball. Rogers, Malen and Buendia are a joy to watch.

Disgusted with the ref for the two Spurs assaults in the first few minutes. Palhinha had no intention of playing the ball and we may lose Bouba for a few weeks now. Disgusting, cowardly challenge.

So easy isn't it. Only complacency can cost us now but I can see us scoring another two goals here especially if we put Ollie on.

Can remember just over a decade ago Spurs coming to VP in league cup and beating us 4-0 without breaking sweat. They were in a different league to us in that era.

Now we do it to them and long may it continue.

Whilst they have Paulinha and Simons playing, they are suprisingly not being very physical or athletic in midfield and that also helps. The few times they have upped the pace they have sneaked the ball and looked slightly dangerous.

This reminds me of Brentford away two years ago. We won the game but Pau got injured for a few months and Kamara got sent off and that caused a dip in form.
