It’s not Liverpool or Rome. It’s where the Villa are playing next.

Was at the final in 82, great memories. Went back with bunch of mates in 2007, the 25th anniversary. Took the stadium tour. They switched the main stand to the other side, but our guide, who also was at the match in 82, clocked our retro final shirts, and took us separately across the pitch and up the stairs to where Dennis lifted the cup. The club have a wall with images and dates of all the great matches played at the stadium, we’re on it. Had a great weekend there. Hope anyone travelling over, has as enjoyable a time as we had.

What other high-key games were played there? Was ours, the only European final it has hosted?
-
Oh goodness me. Your asking me to remember something I saw in 2007. Googling the stadium now, apparently it has hosted 10 various European Finals. Thinking back, although I called it a wall, I think it’s made of glass, and the images and text are engraved. Do remember it being quite impressive. We all thought it was great we are on it.

It's hosted a bunch of European finals.

Probably the section from 3:08 onwards. (Our name is on the wall at 4:26).
-
Wow. If anything it’s more impressive now. Worth a visit, if your there.

Done.

Wow, it holds the record for number of European Cup finals
