To lift the spirits we also had some really good wins. What was your favourite?
-
Newcastle by far. PSG was the most exciting.
-
1. PSG Home
2. Newcastle Home
3. Bayern Home
4. Celtic Home
5. Leipzig Away
-
Newcastle by far. We crucified them. PSG was a 20 min type power play after an average enough first half.
Best individual - McGinn v PSG or Spurs in the cup. Watkins v Newcastle too very close. Tielemans at home to Fulham stood out.
-
Brighton away. Total control.
-
The dominance of the Geordies overall.
-
Bayern, the noise at the final whiste. PSG, the hope of something incredible
-
1. PSG Home
2. Newcastle Home
3. Bayern Home
4. Celtic Home
5. Leipzig Away
PSG too their foot off the gas being 5-1 ahead at that point. Bayern and Newcastle for me.
-
I've voted Bayern, although agree that Newcastle was a more dominant performance. Bayern was one of those special nights where everyone put a shift in to get us an incredible result.

PSG didn’t take their foot off the gas, that’s doing our performance a disservice

Second half of PSG at home…..by a country mile
Followed by Newcastle at home
-
Between Newcastle and Man City. Utterly dominated really good teams in each game. Bayern Munich was more a case of keeping it tight and trying to get them on the break while PSG was great for a while but, ultimately, we still got knocked out. Will go Newcastle before 4-1 is better than 2-1.
-
Best performance was Newcastle, we were unplayable and really could've had a cricket score.
Best atmosphere/feeling was PSG.
-
Yeah it’s probably Newcastle. Brighton away was very good.
-
Newcastle by a distance for me. It's the best I have seen us play over a full 90 for quite some time.
-
PSG was superb, but Newcastle was really good as well. That Onana goal topped the whole game off.
-
I loved Newcastle but I’ll go for PSG also. We did to them what no team has done. Once we got going we ran them ragged. We were at the very top of our game that evening once we started to believe.

Maybe belief is part of our Palace and Man Ure absence

Newcastle Home, no contest .

Agree. We could've scored 6 or 7 against Newcastle after hitting the woodwork 3 times. Then you look at the Palace semi-final and Man United performances and wonder why....
