It's a win in 4 sets for the Djokovic/Murray partnership, so it's a 100% record so far for the dynamic duo.
-
First shock Medevez knocked out, lost in a final set tie break to Learner Tien a 19 year old American.
-
British no 1 Katie Boulter beaten in 3 sets, as her woeful record in Grand Slams continues, never been passed the 3rd round in any major.
-
Jack Draper through to the 4th round after winning a final set tie break 10-8, next he plays Carlos Alcaraz.

Jack Draper through to the 4th round after winning a final set tie break 10-8, next he plays Carlos Alcaraz.
And he's played 3 straight 5 setters. He will be knackered.
-
I'm at the Kecmanovic - Rune match. The most interesting thing is that there's a guy in the crowd opposite me wearing a Villa shirt.
-
Unwisely stopped up late to watch Raducanu win just one game, to say she was bad, would be a massive understatement. She seemed resigned to defeat almost after her serve was broken for the first time, never showed any fight and had 22 unforced errors in the 13 games played.
Draper only Brit now left standing.
-
Sadly Jack Draper 2 sets down against Alcaraz has had to retire. If Djokovic wins he's next match later today, then he plays Alcaraz, which should be a match worth watching.
-
Sinner chewing De Minaur up slowly here. Overall not the same level as Djokovic-Alvarez, but Sinner's hitting so heavy, does he need to be?
-
Brilliant from Sinner, losing just 6 games against a top 10 player, can't see anyone stopping him now.
-
Yeah he'll have too much for Shelton, who I thought had one of the most fun matches of the tournament (maybe the most fun) against Sonego, but who'll very likely find that a sense of fun doesn't get you anywhere against Sinner.
-
Good to see the Swiatek lose, there is something very unlikeable about her.

Is it the drugs?

It predates that.
-
Wasn't expecting that, fantastic Madison Keys.
-
Sinner is a total machine.
-
Sinner is a total machine.
Best description. I was watching thinking, what's so special about him, he has no real spectacular shots, but he just keeps coming like the T1000 and makes very, very few mistakes. Watching the match on Zverev FanTV was funny too.
-
Sinner banned for 3 months after reaching a settlement with the Anti-Doping Agency. It does mean he will be able to play in the French Open, which starts on 19 May.

Pick your own punishment obviously….
Convenient that he is back for next Slam…what a sham:-)
-
Yeah, tennis can get in the bin with that shit.
-
Like when they waited until there was no way Small Heath could get promoted then deducted just enough points to make sure they wouldn't get in a relegation battle.
-
Whisper it quietly, but Emma having a great tournament so far in Miami. QF tomorrow against Pegula.
-
She was excellent yesterday, albeit the other player was atrocious.
-
Brot Fearnley is a set and a break up on Stan Wawrinka (remember him?).
-
It took me way too long to realise you meant 'Brit'.
-
Draper and Cam Norrie both through, the latter knocking out Medvedev.
The brots are doing well ;)
-
Sadly not Emma well beaten by Swiatek in 2 sets.
-
For the first time in nearly 60 years 3 British men have reached the third round at the French Open, unfortunately one will go out in this round, as Norrie and Fearnley are meeting on Saturday night.
-
Sunday: BBC Sport runs an article lauding the phenomenal improvements of British players on clay.
Monday: both remaining British players knocked out.
-
Norrie losing to Djokovic was hardly a surprise, but Draper losing certainly was, though clay is not his favourite surface, but I am expecting big things from Jack at Wimbledon, unlikely but I wouldn't totally rule out him winning it.
-
I'm holding you to that. 🙂

If only the night before Wembley they’d had an article about Crystal Palace being bloody amazing.
-
Alcaraz goes through as Musetti retires injured, now awaits the winner of Sinner and Djokovic, which could be a cracker.
-
Real shame for Musetti, who was playing at a tremendous level for two sets.
-
Should be a couple of close finals with the top two seeds meeting in both. 'Mon Coco and Carlos.
-

Yeah that's the double I'm hoping for.
-
Can't believe there's so many empty seats at the women's final. It's a great match so far, Sabalenka winning the first set.
She's miles in front in the grunting stats as well.
I see they're still doing that annoying thing where the umpire climbs down to look at a close call when they have hawkeye that could do the job. Baffling.
-
Championship tie break. Has that ever happened before?
-
One of the greatest finals I have ever seen.
-

Agreed!

The great summer of sport has started with a great Test match and the Lions Tour, to come are the Euros, British Grand Prix, Tour de France, The Open and of course Wimbledon starts today, it's gonna be hot!

Tbh Lew, most of those sports bore me to tears. Don't mind Wimbledon, but Football and NFL are the best sports by miles; Summer is the worst time of year for sport imo.
-
Was quite enjoying watching the Brits but BBC would rather show the top seeds boringly obliterating their way through. To iPlayer, I go.
Good wins for Kartal and Tarvet.
-
Norrie wins.
-
And so does Fery, who I have never previously heard of.
-
Seems Alcaraz match isn’t the walkover I predicted. Into a decider.

Not been the same player since he became all luvved up with Emma.
-
I've missed this gossip. Anyway, she won relatively comfortably but the young British girl she was against wasn't embarrassed so probably ideal outcome.
-
I wish they'd stop pissing about changing channel every five minutes.
-

She has a terrible draw, though. Vondrousova up next and if she wins that, then Sabalenka.
-
Commentator mentioned how many points in a row Boulter had won on her serve and she's been utter shit since.
-
Boulter recovers well to win the decider.
-
A great day for the Brits, the first time on day one a record 7 players are through to the 2nd round
-
Dan Evans wins, unless there's a major shock on Centre Court, Djokovic next.
-
With the exception of Evans, who won an all-British tie, the Brits have all lost today so far.
-
Abuser scumbag knocked out. 🙂
-
Abuser scumbag knocked out. 🙂
Yeah apart from the Brits, that's the best news so far, this Wimbledon.
-
Draper opponent retires. He was going to win easily anyway.
-
Draper through as his opponent decides he can't be arsed anymore
-
Yeah his first match, turned out a bit different to Alcaraz's.
-
Not really sure what the difference was with that match, where McEnroe kept saying he should retire, and the match a few years ago when he absolutely slaughtered Raducanu for doing the same.
-
Great win for Jack Pinnington Jones.
-
Gauff twatted.
-
Wow, Coco Gauff out. So that's the 2 and 3 seed both out already in the women's.
-
What a win for Dayana Yastremska, she was incredible. Coco Gauff struggled with her serve but that takes nothing away from Yastremska.
-
Kartal through easily, great performance.
-
And an excellent win by Cameron Norrie.
-
Boulter has completely collapsed.
-
Stunning from Emma!
-
Brilliant from Raducanu.
-
Yeah superb, probably the best I've seen her play, since she won the US Open. Sabalenko next, no problem.
-
Well, this isn't going very well. Wasn't Cilic knocking about when Fred Perry was in his pomp?
-
Hopefully his age is catching up with him
-
Draper knocked out
-
Brilliant by Kartal, today is already going to be better than yesterday, whatever else happens.
-
Raducanu played quite well. Sabalenka just too good.
-
If Norrie makes the semis and then the final, I wonder if he'll ask Wimbledon, if those matches can be played on the no 1 court!
-
Looks like Norrie and Kartal will be on at the same time. Why didn't they put him on last? Twats.
-
Kartal winning a Villa vs Sheffield United point. Should never have won that, ludicrous decision.
-
Kartal lost the first set despite the dodgy call, Norrie has won his first set, though.
-
Kartal out. Norrie into second set tie-break.
-

-
Superb win from Norrie, against a very tough opponent.
-
Any idea what Jarry was chirping about?
-
Norrie says he was moaning about him being too loud. He was moaning about him taking too long bouncing the ball on second serve earlier. He might have a point, but if they're not gonna take action on Nadal taking sixty seconds a shot picking his arse for twenty years, they're not going to take action about bouncing the ball.
-
Superb win from Norrie, against a very tough opponent.
A win is a win. Even so, I thought he let his opponent back into it given he was at match point in the 3rd. Glad he’s through though as I’m not a fan of it all down to the serve.
-
On another note. Do these players realise how wank the Tennis hard man look is?
-

I thought the there was a clock on serves now so Norrie is entitled to take the full time allowed. I can't see Jarry's problem with that.
-
Sinner was a very lucky boy last night.
-
I enjoyed watching Ben Shelton yesterday, so hope he beats Sinner. As for Shelton's girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, let's just say she's better looking than her dad.
-
Sinner was a very lucky boy last night.
Sinner was truly forgiven.
-
Turned over in time to see Djokovic break. Boo.
-
You need to shout boo when he's serving.
-
Only if it's short for 'Boo-snia, Boo-snia'.
-
Djokovic through to the semi. Well done, Novak!
Good sportsmanship shown by Cobolli as well.
-
Oh dear, Novax knocked out.
-
Brits Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool have won the men's doubles final, the first all British pair to win it since 1936.
Don't think Wimbledon have gone it right to reschedule the mens doubles to be played before the womens final, it now means the centre court crowd have got a hour and a half wait until they see the Ladies.
-
Brutal.

Na, we put up a bit of a show until we set them up for the first.
I felt sorry for the girl, mental preparedness is what did for her.
-
A difficult watch
-
A difficult watch
Still nowhere as bad as the 2015 FA Cup Final.
-
She can console herself with the £1.52 million prize money
-
That's a lot of bagels.
-
Good weekend for drug cheats so far
-
Deuced
-
Was anticipating a 5 setter, but Alcaraz was not at his best, well played Sinner.

Glasspool is from Redditch too. Not sure regarding his football affiliations.
-
Was cheering for Alcaraz, but nice to see a fellow ginger win it 40 years after 'Boom Boom' Boris won it for the first time.
-
45 year old Venus Williams beating the world number 35 is quite impressive.
