Title: Leipzig (a)
Post by: lennythekad on November 13, 2024, 01:56:36 PM
In case anyone hasn’t seen it yet, you can go on RBL site and buy tickets in home areas, right next to the Villa fans. Blocks 6.2 and 7 are the ones you want. €26 for an adult. The block in blue is 7. 6.2 is to the left of that. There were about 380 left a few minutes ago.

Just go on their site and buy two. It’ll be solid Villa in those two blocks

Thanks so much that’s superb. Hopefully purchased one in Block 7. It’s not showing up in the App yet but I got an email. Is that normal?

Any suggestions on airport to fly into?

There's no trains back to Berlin after the game so stop in Leipzig post match or make alternative arrangements.

I think the actual tickets are sent a couple of weeks before the match.

I'm staying in Leipzig after the match. Then on an early morning coach (5.30am) from Leipzig station straight to Berlin Airport in order to make my 10.25 fight home.

Won’t be a problem, Jon. The Germans are used to away fans in home areas next to the away sections. You’ll be fine

Should that be 11pm purpletrousers?

It’s 11am (tbc) from Alexanderplatz in Berlin on matchday. 2-2.5 hrs on the coach.

Whats the best and reliable website for booking train tickets from Berlin to Leipzig and back.... feels strange booking via trainline.com and it gave me different pricing for the youngboys journey so it cost more when we got to Geneva station.

Try the DB (Deutsche Bahn) website. In English and no need to create an account. Print at home tickets.

I agree totally with lennythekad. Several of us have used the DB website for the travel from Berlin Airport to Leipzig. It's easy to use and efficient. You can also choose your own seat. Highly recommended.

Anybody want four tickets for the U-19 game at 1600 on matchday?. Match is played at RBL training centre, just across the river from the main stadium. The tickets are free, but you’ll just need to download the RBL ticket app (not the main club app), for me to transfer them to you
