Still no news regarding on sale dates, criteria, etc...
Game taking place abroad, fans need to sort out time off work, flights, accommodation and the game is in 12 days. Meanwhile, the club's ridiculous Bayern Munich cash grab goes on sale TOMORROW, despite being just shy of a month away.
The people running the commercial side of the club really are a bunch of utterly useless fucktards aren't they! Couldn't run a piss up in a brewery (*certainly can't run one in a football club - You'd sober up before you got served for your second pint!).
-
I've heard it'll be Monday.

I've heard it'll be Monday.
So 8 days to get yourself sorted. I haven’t done any travel or hotel yet as because they haven’t announced any sales criteria I don’t know if I’ll get a ticket and I’m not willing to spunk the money if I’m not getting a ticket. From recollection this was just as bad for Legia last year. They knew this was coming and there would be just over 2 weeks from the draw to the first game so it very frustrating that we’ll end up with 8 days to sort it all out.
-
Villa can't do anything until the home clubs tell us prices and allocations etc. As crap as things are this may well not be on us.

Anyone have any knowledge of what this is likely to go down to?
-
I have every Conference League game from last season but it looks like 736 out of 1,665 tickets are going to corporate and GA+ and the first window is 4 homes and 5 aways. I don't think I can guarantee I'll get one. Fuck knows what's going to happen with Monaco.

I’ll spend my money elsewhere then.
Got every home and 2 aways.

Think you will on those figures. I’ve got 4 aways so am in the second tranche and I’m pretty confident of being ok.

I'm in tier 4 - I have all homes, plus 2 aways..... so I'm in the last group on Monday. On the positive side, why even have that many groupings with so few tickets available if they didn't see it going down to that criteria?
@RJP - It states that Rows 9-16, seats 625-717 are Hospitality and GA+.... That's 644 tickets by my reckoning - Nearly 40% of our total allocation going to 'non-fans'. Football is shit.
-
In case the sales do make it all the way to end of Monday.... What's the quickest/most cost effective way of getting there? Seems like this one is a little more effort than the others?

Last season someone kindly put up the number of eligible people in each category, does anyone know if that info is available this year? Or has a cloak of silence descended?

Thank you.
It took me a while to work out where it was but it does look pretty clear!
This feels like the last bit of the Tory government where they stopped even trying to hide that they were laughing their arses off at ordinary people!
-
Yeah I should have said it's at the bottom of the 'additional information' box.

Flight to Zurich and then train to Bern. You could fly to Geneva and then get a train but slightly longer.

Actually, RJP is correct. I put in the wrong number of rows - It's 8 rows of 92 seats = 736 prawn sandwich munchers, leaving just 929 tickets for the rest of us. Chances are that some of these seats won't be taken up and will be switched to general sale, but doesn't stop it being utter bollocks.

Thanks Pat, not holding much hope... but we'll see!

Absolutely it is. Also I'd like to know at what point will these be released back. I'm in the second group so if they're not released by 12.00 then they could be made available to people with less criteria than me but not available for me to buy.
-
The Young Boys game still hasn’t appeared in the Away tickets section for me even after logging in, is it showing for others?
-
@AV82EC - Doesn't go live till 10am.
-
Thanks
-
I have got mine. Good luck to all who are trying. This is the situation just after 10am. The GA+ area is in the red rectangle, looks like 160 tickets. Row 9 is/was selectable but 10-16 were greyed out from the start.

There are 2 blocks that are un-selectable.
Other blocks for context.

The seat numbers are not contiguous and jump from 633 to 705.
-
So looks like GA+ and Hospitality get about 10% of the allocation which seems ok. I've got mine, good luck to those in the 2pm scramble as that's where the eligibility numbers start to jump up, still seems to be plenty left so hopefully those with 3 aways are all ok.
-
I've gone for Block B13 upper tier so I will be in front them. Tally ho!
-
Just had a quick look and it looks like it'll go to 2 aways as there's still 150-200 left. Get those fastest fingers ready for 4pm.
-
Block 14 has the most available seats left followed by 13.
-
Got one! Block B12 👍🏼
-
Good luck gents. Think Wycombe is on sale at 5pm too.
-
Young boys sold out so it went down to 2 aways.
-
For those of you lucky enough to be going.
The U-21s play their opening game of the UEFA youth league against Young Boys at the Sportpark Wyler at 1pm that day. It's only 10/15 mins walk from the main stadium.
As far as I can make out it is a 3,000 capacity ground and part of a general sports facility with swimming pool, restaurant etc.

Venue for the Youth League game in Leipzig is just across the river, - but in Bruges it’s a 7hr walk away (39km).
-
Young boys sold out so it went down to 2 aways.
That was quick. I picked mine at about 10.01 this morning. It was all very amicable, everything working smoothly.
-
So got mine at 12.00 in the 4 aways category. Slightly surprised it went as low as 2 but that may be a good thing for later in the tournament.
Not even looked at travel yet as wasn't certain I'd get in. And also on a very tight timeframe. Wouldn't normally do it but is the club doing the same day trips like last season - not seen them advertised anywhere ?

Saw someone say on twitter they had contacted the club about offical travel and they wern't running any for this trip. Its the silence that annoys me, i have booked flights and acomodation, but last year they were annoucning tjem about a 5 days before the game, i would have used them on the Lille trip as i needed to be in and out due to work, but you can't leave it that late. Just wish they would announce what they are doing nice and early....but thats the same for the tickets for every European away game last year and not improved this time. You would think now we know all the games unitl January they could make some plans for the rest of the matches and announce details but i won;t hold my breath,

Can see why this dropped to 2 Euro aways..... it's quite the adventure. Got to be back in the morning for work in Leamington at 10am, so I'm staying at the holiday inn by Zurich airport. Hoping to drop bag off there around lunchtime then get train into Zurich, then onto Bern. Should give me about 3-4 hours of sightseeing/drinking pre-match.
Going to (*attempt) to walk back to Bern city centre post match as it's less than 2 miles away and jump on a train back to Zurich. Flight back at 7:05am! Cannot wait!
-
Hi there, I’m coming down from Zurich (where I live) myself and there are trains going back until just after midnight. Use the Swiss Railway website sbb.ch to check. Whatever you do avoid taking a cab if you can. Crazy expensive. There are also night buses all over Zurich so it’s unnecessary. Anyone have plans for a pre-match drink? There are some good bars in Bern centre and trans from there to the stadium. Let me know if you want recommendations.
-
Check your inboxes everyone, tickets incoming.
-
It’s actually a 2pm kick off local time and entry is free. It’s the under 19s and the ground is really not too far from the main stadium
