Good old Jim, always a friendly face in the dug out in the 90s.

He must be well into his 80s now unless he was younger than he looked in those times?

He must be well into his 80s now unless he was younger than he looked in those times?
He's 77 I think.

I know someone who knows Jim very well and calls him a good friend. That is my claim to fame.

I used to play 4 a side with him and Steve Simms at Stumps in the early 90’s. Both him and Steve are really nice blokes.

Wow, so only mid 40s when he was behind BFR in the dugout in the early 90s. Think he was assistant to Merson for a few months at Walsall in his ill fated managerial stint there.
