Most of them.
Be prepared to be inconvenienced - again.

Won't playing Champions League on Tue/Wed mean more Sat games ?
-
It's hardly news is it? I hate them being fucked about with but was fully aware of this before I committed to a ST.
-

Yes, but there are also going to be CL games played on Thursdays this season.

FFS.

Only in one week.
Anyway, early changes... West Ham away (17th August) moved to 5.30pm and live on Sky
Wolves home (21st September) will be moved if our Champions League game the midweek before is scheduled for the Thursday
Man Utd home (5th October) will be moved from the Saturday as they're in the Europa League the preceding Thursday
Chelsea away (30th November) will be moved assuming they negotiate the Conference League qualifying round
Chelsea home (22nd February) will be moved if they are in the Conference League knockout round playoffs and/or if either team is in the League Cup Final
Man City away (26th April) will be moved if either team is in the FA Cup Semi-Finals
Tottenham home (18th May) will be moved if either team is in the FA Cup Final.

I stand to be corrected but I thought is was the frist round of matches only?

It is. Midweek before Wolves at home.

Didn’t realise that. Good news then. Cheers.

We're seeded for the League Cup aren't we too? Being one of the very big boys.

Yep Round 3 not that it helped much last season.

Probably just as well in hindsight.

Aren't there even more slots this season for Prem TV games to be fucked about with.

No. New deal kicks in next year (2025/26 season).
-
Sunday night games to look forward to. What a mess.
-
Newcastle seemed to have sold ownership of Sat half 5 up to December last season so I think we'll be in that slot regularly.
Also some talk on Digital Spy the Arsenal game might be moved to the Monday night.
They normally announce further TV games in the first week of July.
-
Could they hurry up sort it out asap for Arsenal as I would like to book my flights, car rental and that?
-
Hadn't realised there were league matches on cup final weekend. And it's not the last game of the season. Bit shit that imo. Not that I've watched it the last three years.
-
Yep. I'm in favour of ditching replays but cup final should always be the last game and have the weekend to itself.

Uefa rules about the CL final venue isn't it?

It's in Munich, it was at Wembley this year.
-
Oh yes 😒
Don't know what I was thinking.
-
So we will have to play spuds in the middle of that last week of the season then. Triffic.
-
Amazon will have the first pick of 17 Champions League games on Tuesday nights
-
I know its a while away but you can gurantee the boxing day game at Newcastle gets moved to late kick off. Something very convenient for our fans
-
Erm, there is already a thread for games that have been moved for TV and Newcastle on Boxing Day has already been confirmed as a 12 Noon KO.

That was copied from the other thread. Posted by Spangley.
-
Maybe, but where has the confirmation of Villa being a 12pm kick off come from? I can't see it anywhere official.
-
I don't think it has. Agree the two threads could be merged, though.

Thanks for this - but it could get changed closer to the time couldnt it?

Few rumours knocking about our game at Anfield (Sat 9 Nov) is being moved to 8pm KO

Wankers.

If the next few weeks are relatively easy, then November is the opposite - some really tough games.

Last train to Brum out of Liverpool Lime St is 933pm so if you leave the game at HT you should make it

Unless you driving you might have to stay the night in the cesspool known as Liverpool

Train to Manchester and bed down there is a better option

Really stupid having the game at 8pm when the half 12 slot is unused for that Saturday.
I presume it's to do with CL as away to Ipswich would've been moved to 8pm if we'd been drawn to play CL on the following Tuesday.
Feels like we play Spurs away at 2pm on a Sunday every season now aswell.

I doubt Accent Guy would agree with you.

From Pravda....
Broadcast selections for Aston Villa's December and January Premier League fixtures have been confirmed.
Villa's visit of Brentford will now take place on Wednesday, December 4 and will kick-off at 8.15pm, live on Amazon Prime Video.
Our trip to Nottingham Forest 10 days later has been selected for live Sky Sports coverage, and will now get underway at the later time of 5.30pm.
Manchester City visit Villa Park in the final outing before Christmas on Saturday, December 21, with TNT Sports coverage bringing kick-off forward to 12.30pm, before Unai Emery's side visit Newcastle United on Boxing Day, live on Amazon (Thursday, December 26, ko 3pm).
Villa's final game of 2024, at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, has also been pushed back to Monday, December 30 (ko 7.45pm) as a result of Brighton's visit of Brentford being moved. This fixture has not been selected for live television coverage.
Two away trips in four days will then see the Villans visit Everton on Wednesday, January 15 (ko 7.30pm) live on TNT Sports, before Sky Sports cover our clash against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, January 18, which will get underway at the later time of 5.30pm.
Villa's final Premier League game of January, at home to West Ham United, will now take place on Sunday, January 26 (ko 4.30pm), live on Sky Sports.

There will be a 72 hour 15 minute gap between KO away to Arsenal in the league and KO away to Monaco in the CL.
-
There's less than 72 hours playing on a Wednesday night and then on a Saturday afternoon.
-
Away to Spurs, Bruges AND Liverpool in 6 days.
That's one hell of an unfortunate fixture list.
Think we are away to Monaco and Arsenal within 3 days of each other too. And we had Man United after Bayern. Seems we have been extremely unlucky with the games against the Sky 6, all falling after a Champions League game. Especially away from home.
-
Jaysus, will we ever see a Saturday 3pm ever again..
-
Bournemouth on the 26th.
-

Tomorrow, away. Plus our next three weekend home games. It's a lot better this year than when we were in the Conference League.

I meant in 2025 but its true that it's good to see the back of Thursday-Sundays.

We seem to be in the sweet spot of being in the Champions League, making it awkward to move our games to Sunday/Monday, while also still not being sufficiently attractive to broadcasters that they feel the urge to piss about with nearly every game like they do with, say, Liverpool.
-
Bournemouth on the 26th.
Extra tickets available for this as Bournemouth have taken reduced allocation.
-
wow, 8.00 on a Saturday is this the first time for this slot ?
Given time difference, defiantly few pre game beers for me enabling me to stay awake.
-
Might I suggest that is going to be the true test of our credentials this season - the period between basically now and the end of Jan.
-
Essentially it's every game between now and the end of the season.
-

I think this set of games between now and the international break are massive for our season. We could be top of the Premier League, top of the Champions League and in a quarter final by the time our players head off to far flung nations for utterly pointless games.
Alternatively, we could be out of the top 6 in the PL, out of the most winnable cup we are competing for and at risk of slipping out of the top 8 of the CL, with Juventus coming up next.
The games at Spurs and Liverpool especilly will go a long way to showing how far we have really come.
As I say, a pivotal few weeks.

Er... Not this Saturday (Liverpool away 9th November). Bournemouth is 3.00 o'clock this Saturday. ( Had me panicking at first sight of the above!)
