I might as well say something.

Excellent read as usual Dave. I feel that this season we have passed up the chance of some silverware which may take some while to come around again. Agree entirely about the CL money but, I think that’s the only thing we will get out of being in that competition.
I so hope that I’m totally wrong but, I just have this nagging feeling that this season will have been our pinnacle for some time to come. If I were Emery, the first thing I would look to win would be the League Cup as it’s the easiest of the lot. However, not much money to be made out of that so, think that’ll be put on the back burner.
As always, UTV and keep up your good work

As usual. I aim to please, Boss.

Far too calm and level-headed for my mood, which can best be described as 'vibrating with ceaseless terror'.

You're too kind.

Agree on all points you made there Dave. I'd add another possible lesson, that Emery might find out which (if any) players might be zoning out on his microscopic tactics lectures. Those in depth sessions are Emery's USP that separates him from being a very good manager to top of the range.

I think he will move on those players who don't have the technical ability. He is all seeing and tactically brilliant. Unai, not Dave, that is. Big summer ahead, really looking forward to it.

The future is very exciting.
