Yeah, very good. The sun always shines on tv...

Extra marks for being consistent with "Wulfs".

I live down here (Bright, not Wulfo), and played football last Sunday evening for the first time in about 3 years in Kemp Town, the closest to the Amex I've got to since moving.

The question of wearing Villa kit as a potential ice-breaker/piss-taking was taken out of my hands, it was in the laundry basket in need of washing.

Good to meet you in The Ship before the game, Nev. You should have stayed with us in the away end bar that stays open after the game - the best thing about the stadium.

Likewise. I had to get back to meet my Landord for the weekend. Managed to sit with some Villa fans on the train back to London, they had the game on three phones so didn't miss anything.

That queue at the train station was massive. But it was so well organised, we were on a train within 20 minutes and at the ground at around 1pm. The ground for me  is OK and certainly better than shitholes like the London Stadium.

We should have just stayed in The Ship.

Brings back memories of being at college out there many decades ago.

I'd be more inclined now to spend the day at the Harvey's brewery in Lewes and come at the football from that direction.

I stayed at " The Old Ship" in September.
Fantastic spot, but I wonder if they have fixed the, temporary out of order lifts that one of the staff said had not worked for months.
Lugging two suitcases up 3 flights of stairs was not fun.
