Hi All
Long time since i have posted here - used to be a season ticket holder and now go to a few games a year and back on the waiting list!
Anyway, my 7 year old girl is getting Villa obsessed since being a mascot last year and wants to the words to the Pau Torres song. I was at Brentford away but cannot make out the lyrics!
Would anyone mind typing out the lyrics so i can give them to her to learn!

There is only one........

I knew the song was about Torres as a mate told me but was utterly clueless on picking up the words.
-
No idea but I really hope it's not this..
-

Oh dear, you want this one, possibly the worst Villa song ever, it even makes the one above sound like a classic.
Can't say I didn't want you..

You’re such a misery, it sounds great when loads of people are singing it. I just mumbled along and joined in with the na na na’s

Ha! The na na na is the best part.

Good grief.

Where are those fans going? To prison it looks like, architecture-wise.
-
Assuming it is not a made up tune. What is it ?

That was the entrance to the away end in Mostar. You walked through a double line of police dressed in military fatigues to get in.
Sounds moody, but it was actually friendly as anything over there with their fans.
-
ManUtd used to have a wealth of dirgy chants you couldn't understand the words to. We've even overtaken them in that.
What is the tune by the way?

Peggy Gou. You must have heard that by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

A composition that has, so far, eluded me.

You not listening to her on your gramophone grandad while you empty a blue salt sachet onto your crisps? Pffft.
-
This isn't difficult. How about (to the tune of Volare):
Pau Torres, oh-oh!
Pau Torres, oh-oh-oh-oh!
He came form Villareal,
He plays for the real Villa now!
(repeat ad nauseum)

The latter was Toronto.

that is truly awful

There's no swearing and with further usage of the iambic pentameter, I think this could be a hit!
-
Seeing the nanana's mentioned, thought it might have been to the tune of Hey Jude.
Glad we swerved that one.
