Was last night the breaking of our consecutive home wins record?
Or is it only in the Premier League?
-
Must be Prem because we lost to Everton at home.
-
Fair point... 👍
-
Prem only.
-
Last won this many consecutive home games in the League in 1983.
-
Prem only.
Cheers.
Tbh, I had forgotten about the Everton loss...
-
Must be Prem because we lost to Everton at home.
Which is both frustrating and ridiculous! Add Stevenage to that list too.

Must be Prem because we lost to Everton at home.
Which is both frustrating and ridiculous!
Especially given we walloped them a few weeks before that.

This is what I have:
Consecutive home league wins in a row:
14 - from 27-Dec-1930 Manchester United to 10-Oct-1931 Bolton Wanderers
14 - from 10-Jan-1903 Nottingham Forest to 28-Nov-1903 Liverpool
13 not out from 4-Mar-2023 Crystal Palace to ?
13 - from 12-Feb-1983 Everton to 15-Oct-1983 Birmingham City
12 - from 22-Mar-1897 Bolton Wanderers to 11-Dec-1897 Blackburn Rovers
-
I thought i'd look at how the previous runs ended
1983 Lost 2-6 Arsenal
1931 Lost 2-3 Everton
1903 Lost 2-3 Blackburn
1897 Lost 1-2 Sheffield Utd

Did the '83 run end with a trio of defeats, or is it my inner-Brummie kicking in? Arsenal, Spartak, Manyoo?
-
Spartak was Europe so doesn't count. After the Arsenal game we drew 1-1 v Stoke and won 3-1 v Leicester. Our next league defeat at home was 1-3 v Liverpool late Jan.
