Assuming you could get through the war
I don't have access to the line ups but Eric Houghton played until 46/47 so there must be a fair chance they played together. and Eric signed for the Villa on the day my dad was born in 1927 so that's taking you a way back further.

The difficult bit of doing a timeline like this is longevity after Cowans finished in 92/93? Maybe Yorke takes it to 99 but after that……
