I was thinking what would Aston Villa fans like to win the most personally I would want the Premier League first because it's over 38 games then the FA Cup like others I love it then the European Conference League and finally the League Cup in an ideal world I would love the lot but I can't see that happening.
-
Good topic Daz. For me:
League
FA Cup
European Conference
League Cup

Agreed on this order. The league is the most prestigious (and the least likely, of course!). Beyond that, the Cup is something we haven't even won in my dad's lifetime so that would be the most satisfying itch to scratch, the Conference is something we've never won before (and a European trophy, which is fun), and the League Cup is something even I remember us winning. Wouldn't turn down anything though, obviously. Sick of potless seasons.
-
In order;
FA Cup
FA Cup
FA Cup & then
FA Cup
Could happily give up season ticket if we won that
-
As long as we're in the Deloitte top 20 I'll be like a pig in shit.

You sickening old romantic.
-
We're not going to win the league, unless some sort of financial shenanigans puts the usual winners out of action so...
FA Cup
League Cup
Any European Cup
would be my list.
After last night's performance, I'll take anywhere in the top ten, this season.
-
Same as Risso for me
League
FA Cup
European Conference
League Cup
Like many on here the only one i`ve not witnessed is the FA Cup - The Arsenal Cup Final defeat is still painful - even now
-
FA Cup as it’s the only trophy that I’ve never seen us win. All other trophies would be nice but the FA Cup is still special, although not as special as it once was.
-
- Decent pints poured efficiently @ £2.80 ea.
- FA Cup
- Reasonable EU/overseas P&P for tat bought online from Pravda Boutique
- League
- One (1) fucking badge the right way round
- UEFA ConferenceDecent quality kit
- League Cup
-

This.

Where would you have champions league qualification?
League
FA Cup
Champions League qualification (top 5)
Europa conf
League cup

Can you send photos of the cup winners cup win?

Is my answer too. I'd probably chuck my ST in too.
-
League (but not realistic)
FA Cup
Euro Conf
Champions league qual
League Cup

FA Cup. It's our Elgin Marbles. Bring it home.
-
Dreamland would the Premier League. To a lesser extent, the Europa Conference - another European trophy would be a huge addition.
I would be so grateful for either the FA Cup or League Cup again though. Just end the drought. There's also the old romance of the FA Cup, if we could win it while we're still the old Villa I love I'd be grateful. Before we go full on prawn sandwiches and the FA Cup becomes an insignificance.

Well that's depends if you believe the future is prawn-coloured I suppose! I'd say it's more likely now than it was, say, 5 years ago, but far from certain.
I'd like us to win a cup, of course and we should have a decent / half chance this year. But the league is the one. Given that is hugely unlikely in our current guise, consistent CL qualification is the next best thing and might lead to a genuine challenge.
So my realistic list (until total world domination is within reach) would be:
1. CL qualification
2. FA Cup
3. Europa Conference
4. League Cup
-
The FA Cup - seen everything else that matters - can die happy then (maybe not immediately though)
-
Rather than be realistic, I've just listed in order of priority:
Champions League
League
FA Cup
Europa League
CL Qualification
League Cup
European Conference
-
This season -
Champions
Fa Cup
League Cup
Conference League
-
Stay in the PL.
All other expectations kicked into touch after last nights debacle.

I have kind of formed the feeling that we likely won't win anything again in my lifetime.
-
Daz, a bold first thread-start but a good'un.
-
after last night i would take the 4th round !!
-
FA Cup
Europa League
Saudi Arubibba and Bubbu Dhabi to be taken out by a mid range nuclear strike
-
Good thread Daz!
-
Hmmm.
FA Cup - Win it once and we'll do it again fairly soon
League - It's been longer to win this than the League Cup, plus it's the hardest given the games.
League Cup - Domestic trophy, Wembley....
Conference League - Not won it, so it would be nice to win... but will be viewed as not being a major trophy.
-
Time travel.
When do we want it?
It’s irrelevant.
-
I'd like us to win something. It's been over quarter of a century, so I don't mind what it is specifically.
If I was to pick one thing, it'd be the Europa Conference. I don't give a shit what anyone else says, I prefer cups to leagues, and I prefer European ones to domestic ones
-
Time travel.

It’s irrelevant.
That's very clever.
In order I would take:
FA Cup
Conference League
League Cup
The Premier League is just an impossible dream so not worth thinking about.
-
Paul McGrath in his prime.
Martinez to sharpen up his game.
A proper goalscorer up front.
& the club to give a toss about some fans more.
All of the above may result in a trophy.
-
League progress over last year - top 6
ECL winners
Anything in FA and league cups a bonus
-
A win in the third round of the FA Cup
-
It’s a very tough call, to be honest.
I’d have to say FA Cup for the purely selfish reason of not being alive when we have won it.
But I’d take any silverware.
-
Trying to be somewhat realistic too...
ECL
FA Cup
EPL
League Cup
-

Conference League
League Cup

Same for me.
Looking past this season, think it would be easier for us to win the Champions League than the Premier League. Still highly unlikely, so I'd take either.
-
FA Cup
EPL Top 5
Conference
League Cup
-
As long as we're in the Deloitte top 20 I'll be like a pig in shit.
I've always considered Deloitte to be a third tier accountancy firm so, unless it's a PricewaterhouseCoopers top 20, I'd have the League Cup ahead of it.
-
A win in the third round of the FA Cup
Come on, let's keep these vaguely grounded in reality
-
FA Cup being proudly paraded on Council House balcony by SirJohn McGinn.
That'll be me done then.
-
We'll get two of these this season. You know how you wait for a bus for ages then two come at once. We're about to experience the football equivalent of that.
Come back in May when I'm right. I'll accept my thanks in the form of pics of your cats.
-
I want Emery to sort the defence out, because without that we are not winning or qualifying for anything.
-

It goes like this:
KPMG
Deloitte = PwC
EY
Based on the money they've spent on the nonsense I've pedalled.
-

That'll be me done then.
Isn’t that balcony now out of bounds because it’s structurally unsafe? Pretty sure that is.
-
FA Cup
Conference Cup
Decent league finish
Douglas Luiz to sign forever
-
FA Cup, league is some distance away at the moment. I’d be happy with any cup win to be honest.
-
FA Cup.
-
Not that it's the one I'd most like us to win, but I think we're due a League Cup.
As it's the first one we'll have an opportunity to win, let's start with that, and see about the others in a bit.
-
The trouble with the domestic cups is that Man City play in them. The trouble with the European one is that we play in it.
-
In order of preference:-
The FA Cup
The Football Association Challenge Cup
To win ‘the Cup Final.’
-
I have seen the other stuff so
Royal Institute of British Architects Gold Medal for Best Urban Renewal Project.
A Michelin Star for Charlie's chip shop.
An OBE for Mr Woodhall for services rendered to sports journalism.
A Legion d'Honneur for Bad English for Services to Anglo French relations.
A blue plaque for the Bartons.
That's about it.
-
A win in the third round of the FA Cup
:D

League
FA Cup
European Conference
League Cup
This.

Ditto
-
The League is not realistic, the club would want Champions League.
But I want my Son to see us win something & I want the FA Cup. But I'd take the Conference or the League Cup.
We should at least be getting much closer to achieving something.
-
FA Cup as it’s the only trophy that I’ve never seen us win. All other trophies would be nice but the FA Cup is still special, although not as special as it once was.
same here
tho not seen the us win the EC cup neither but Ill take a FA Cup winners ( can you get in Europe If you win ? )
-
The FA Cup
To answer above, yes. Europa League
-
I want Unai Emery to manage us for the next decade. I am sure silverware would come our way.
-
Next 3 games (all at home) are huge. I think we have a great chance to shape our season in three different competitions
-
The top 2 in the Premier this season will be Man City and Liverpool, again. With this in mind my priorities are:
FA Cup
Euro Conf
Top 6 in the league
League Cup
All of the above would be nice, of course.
