Not watching anymore. Fucking Olsen

Stupid to not sign a decent 2nd choice goalkeeper.

And I've never heard of a single member of Burnley's team.

One of them might be in midfield, or it could be the three at the back we've seen.

Which would make sense. Because you know. Olsen.

It’s Burnley not city ?

Gutted about Emi. The flip side is that , God forbid, Olsen has a shocker , Unai has a few days to get someone in to replace him.  Better now than in a few weeks.

It's bizarre that for all the talk of how far we've come in the past few years, our second choice keeper is so bad that I almost instantly give up on us having any chance of getting points when he's named in the starting 11.

Im sure he will get better the more games he plays. It must be tough being a number 13 just coming in for the odd game when the main man is out. It just surprises me how nervous he appears as he is 33 and experienced not like a young kid coming through. A clean sheet would do him the world of good especially if emi is out and olsen gets  a run of games. We've still got enough to be these lot.

I think Bailey isn't fit - that what is circulating on twitter.

I think we'll see cash on the right of midfield.  The injuries are unreal, but at the same time, I still think we haven't done enough.  Olsen is clearly not good enough, yet we loaned him, then bought him, and haven't replaced him.  He has cost us games in the past.

We need to see some more incoming as currently it makes things like letting Young go, and three of our more promising youngsters go, seem poor decisions.  I know we have Emi x 2, Phil, Morenero, Ramsey, Mings, and Donk out, but you have to expect that at any given time, 1 or 2 players will be out and I think will be short all season.  We have an 8 man bench with 2 goal keepers, and 2 wingers that, by various reports are not fully fit.

It certainly looks like 3 at the back and the full backs bombing on where we can.  I am a tad concerned about the creativity within the side.  Bench looks strong with Bailey, Zaniolo, Bert, Tielemans there.

I also think we still need another couple of players brought in too.

Getting most of the injured players back will solve a lot of the problems, having so many players out so early in the season is very rare, for 2 of them to be long-term injuries picked up in the same week is even more so. I'd have liked to see someone like Feeney or Revan on the bench though, we don't have many defensive options right now.

Emery said he's due back in training this week, think he had some kind of knock, but he's never been consistent enough for his liking, so he'll see if he can be consistent now. Or something to that effect.

Not really sure what to expect - we played awfully against a good team and got hammer.  We have played well against 2 awful teams and hammered them.

Not sure how to call this.  We have a weakened team, and maybe an unfamiliar formation / partnerships.

I don't know much about Kompany's burnley but there first home game since coming up - feels like it could be tough.

Stan Lynn...first recognised full-back to score a hat-trick in a top-flight game in English football.

He looks very calm indeed, and clearly happy to bring the ball out under pressure.  Haven't seen enough of him yet to feel entirely comfortable when he wants to dribble under pressure, so it gives me the heebie-geebies, but I'm sure that will fade over time.  A very accomplished footballer.

Now that we're no longer under the radar and considered 'good' by most people, I feel like one of main things we have left that non-Villa fans don't really know about is how ridiculously good these two are. World class, both of them. Could play in any side in Europe.

That's been a cruise...should be a Hibs like scoreline at half time really. Was really anti wing backs but credit to Emery as Burnley seem clueless on how to deal with them. Our midfield is far too strong for theirs, Berge looks the competition player this week and will be surely hooked at the break. Watkins has been brilliant too. He got a fine assist but Diaby has been infuriating. That was a perfect through ball from Luiz he bottled really.

Early goal and finish them off.

burnley have been completly locked out, they go left, right, back but if they go forward we're all over them. They're restricted to shooting from range, well one attempt they had. We shut up shop from the first whistle. They might try and come out the blocks 2nd half but if we just do what we've been doing one more and should be job done.
