Konsa at right back I presume

How we finished against Everton I would think. 343 in possession with Bailey and Digne on the flanks and Kamara dropping into centre back when out of possession with Pau at left back and Konsa at right back.

True, but still 3 games in a week which tended to result in a drop-off in levels in the 3rd game when it was happening near the end of the last season. Just thought the reason we wanted 2 genuine options per position was so that there could be some rotation.

This. Seems like it’d be pretty attacking - also with one eye on all the teams we’ll be facing later who’ll field a deep defensive block

So Zaniolo's already picked up an injury presumably! Suddenly the squad looks pretty thing with Mings, Buendia, Ramsey, Moreno, Bailey, Coutinho and Zaniolo out injured plus Archer all but gone.

Strong starting line up though, surprised he isn't giving Tielemans a game from the off. He is the one player who can come in without there being a noticeable drop in quality. Judging by the rest of the team, Cash might even consider himself dropped rather than rested.

Bailey is playing tonight Olof.  Your point is well made though, we do need players, given Digne is off too. Still no word of Leander Dendonker.

Perhaps Unai’s keeping Zanny boy for his impact on Sunday, as he’s an unknown quantity to other PL teams.
Possibly wanting Thielemans and Cash to be relatively fresh for that match, as well as returning players.

( Bright sides on demand)

Not a fan of this all claret ensemble.

Who is honestly going to confuse Hibernian green and white with claret and blue shirts, white shorts blue socks.
It's in case Bailey is menstruating.

Watkins and Bailey off earlyish second half for Duran and Traore, no need to take undue risks now.

Shouldn't teams be able to declare? Would make sense all-round, call it a 3-0 result, save the players legs on both sides. I imagine some of the home fans can't be fucked with another 45+ minutes of this.

one more and the tie is over. just have to keep the ball and run the clock down, keep the ball and wear them down. avoid any showboating they will be trying to clatter us.
Good to see bailey taking a whack then getting up and putting one in the net.
Nice to see Konsa playing on with a shiner. Calvert Lewin would be signalling to the bench right about now squinting.

A thought for Tyrone, who must be gutted that he is not in the middle of this dragging Hibs players around by the scruff of their sporrans and pointing at random deep-fried Mars bars.

It makes a nice change to hear commentators going on about the quality in our squad and the talent just on the treatment table. Better than hearing Danny Murphy on talkshite earlier saying I suppose it will be exciting for Villa fans but Liverpool would be embarrassed to be in that competition. What a total fucking wanker.
