Wasn't he on trial here last season? I'm sure I remember the club mentioning a young winger on trial when we signed the deal with Nas' other club?

Posted this in the other thread but he was here in April...

First one to come through the multi-club system. Meant to have been highly sort after so we'll see how he develops.
The U18's beat Tottenham's U18's 4-0 over the weekend so that age group looks strong.
-
wHAT'S zED ?
-
The next Salah, obviously.
-
wHAT'S zED ?
ZED Football Club (Arabic: نادي زد لكرة القدم), formerly known as FC Masr, is an Egyptian professional football club based in Giza, Egypt. The club currently plays in the Egyptian Second Division, the second-highest league in the Egyptian football league system.

I think Eamonn was setting up a 'Pulp Fiction' inspired response, which we already did the last Nas' Egyptian club was mentioned on here.

He's Egyptian
Only cost us peanuts
We're not sure if he's brilliant
Omar Khedr

“Aston Villa is pleased to announce….”

“Aston Villa is pleased to announce….”
If just doesn't look right, does it
Do supporters who refer to Villa as 'we', now need to say 'I' instead ?

It.
The Limited Company isn't welcoming the new player, since it's just a few lines of code on the Companies House database. It's the people who make up the club offering the welcome.

Welcome to Aston Villa Omar.
-
Welcome young man - hope it all works out for you.
At present its nice to see building for the future but after the injuries and Saturdays disaster i want to hear about 1st team recruitment

If you want to play at being an American then fine.

My proof-reader and my old English teacher disagree.

Well they are just as Americanised as you then.

Bonapercy, what have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully?
Once again, it is Aston Villa IS, except for when it is Aston Villa ARE. No need for a crusade really. I teach this to French secondary students every year, and they get it.

Love that new Twang one, gets better with each listen. I honestly think they’ve improved with age. A bit like Peace, although they’ve been perfect since their first record, they’re just a bit more profound now.
Perce, The Twang and Peace as bands are a single entity, made up of various people. You're happy to use 'are' and 'they' when talking about them as seen above, why not with a football club like Villa, when it's exactly the same thing?

Because I’m not arsed Either Way. (See what I did there?)
I only react to people saying ‘Aston Villa is’ is wrong, when quite clearly it isn’t.

In the Black Country it's Aston Villa am.
