Richard Keeling talking about you know who.

A fine example of freedom of speech there, Dave. A timely reminder that H&V is very much a broad church.

Of course commentary and pundit free highlights (the same I think MOTD used over the weekend) are available online well before MOTD is on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Richard was I correct in stating that an additional 2m viewers tuned in on Saturday. The increase was actually around half a million.
Viewing figures were up to 2.58million from last Saturday’s figure of 2.09million, according to BARB overnights.
It is the BBC programme’s largest audience since November 5 2022, which 2.63million people watched Match Of The Day.

Richard was incorrect....

Good read.

Please add verbally incapacitated (and loathsome) pundits that start a comment off with 'Listen...' to the 'Look...' list as well!

What really annoys me about the punditry, apart from the lack of insight, is the way that they fixate on the same favourite clubs to the detriment of the also-rans (in their opinion). For example, if Saturday's show had gone ahead as planned, I guarantee that the analysis of the Bournemouth/Liverpool game would have been prefaced with the phrase "let's not take anything away from Bournemouth, but Liverpool..." there would then have been a 5 minute discussion about Liverpool's woes without any mention of the opposition. We see this week after week. I watched Sunday night's offering and didn't miss the inane comments from the Old Boys Club brigade one little bit. And you just know that they spend their time off camera arranging Monday afternoon's tee-off time.
