A calm reasonable and balanced assessment of the game and where we are - in sharp contrast to some of the hysteria elsewhere on the site.
Emery refers to "the project" time and time again.
He knows what he's inherited, he'll be formulating a plan of what and where to improve and in what order - affected no doubt by when potential signings become available.
We didn't win yesterday- and we all know why, but Jeez think how grim it would probably have been under our former manager.
Give Emery a couple of transfer windows to get his type of players then let's see where we are.

A balanced article that sensibly did not suggest we need to replace the whole squad by Monday otherwise we are destined for relegation to the conference.
Would be very interested to know where you think we need to strengthen assuming we can bring in 2 or 3 starters at best.

The manager could also be criticised for failing to bring on substitutes until the game was lost, and although the bench was lacking in potential gamechangers we’ll never find out what the younger ones are capable of until they get the chance.
Just said similar elsewhere. From the games I've seen him play Cameron Archer has never looked anything but impressive. I'm really struggling to understand why he's not been given a chance especially when we're so ridiculously wasteful up front.
