Great read Dave. Spot on.

Done.

Indeed a very special day.
One I'll remember for a long time.

Brilliant piece. One of your best.

Yup, a perfect tone.

27 years. It was embarrassing, and now it’s finally over. Last time was by the same score, and the beginning of a season that saw a top four finish and a trophy. The first of those is unlikely, you never know about the second.
This.
Please.

Over the last twenty seven years, we have been 2-0 up too many times and blown it, but today when that third went in, I just knew it was our day.

It is so crazy. That hoodoo felt like the heaviest thing in the world; but now, it's not like a weight off our shoulders for me, it's more like realising that it was a fuss about nothing. We out-thought them and bossed them off the pitch, it was that simple. Unbelievable day.

Great read Dave.

Love the title

Nice one Dave.
It's nice to be feeling a tad smug isn't it?
UTV!

Great read Dave.
Thanks Daz.

Lovely stuff, Dave. Even being remote the last 20 years, the pain has still been real.
-
Great article, perfectly encapsulates the years of suffering and ridicule that served to make today so very fucking sweet.
-
Long may it continue.
-
Most inventive press pun after all these weeks. Feels apt on this momentous occasion.
-
Beautiful!
Re the "rules don't apply" their Argentinian Martinez was more than lucky to stay on the pitch - elbowing Bailey, out of control tackle (I think on Ramsey). Thought he had a very poor game without Varane beside him. Hope he continues in the same vein on Thursday.
