Another day, another respectful match preview.

That was a highly sarcastic piece. Lovely stuff.

-
				Putting the 'burn' in Burnley.

-
This was great read. Good mentions and useage to see perspective of how Burnley are typically viewed by many and that it's toss between them Leeds or Everton going down.

-
Found out today as well as Alastair Campbell, there’s another celebrity Burnley fan - Dr Zoe Williams (one for daytime TV viewers probably).

-
				Seems legit

-
Wasn’t John Kettley a Burnley fan? Was he a celebrity?

-
				Done.

 A weather man I think.
-
Lovely poetic words. Thank you for making me smile.

-
Norris and Chesney from Corrie are apparently Burnley fans.
They try to claim Prince Charles.
-
				Brilliant read Dave.

 And so is Michael Fish.

dirty direct football gits but still an improvement on Everton and Leeds

My management accountant is a big Burnley fan. He is currently recovering from a prostate cancer operation, hoping he doesn’t need chemo or radiotherapy.

He worked for me in my last business too. Known him for 30 years. As decent a bloke as you could ever meet. Most folk in Burnley are nice. I really hope they stay up and Leeds go down.
-
Burnley's saving grace is they freely admit they chose Claret & Blue as their kit in homage to the Villa team yonks ago, that won everything in sight.

Unlike the kit stealers, when many ill-informed numpties would have you believe where in Claret & Blue before the original and the best.
-
Tabloid editorial div turned decent broadcaster Tony Livsey supports Burnley.

 Thanks Daz.

 And Charles Dagnall.

My feed kept cutting to a bloke in the crowd who seemed to be a celebrity Burnley fan. He seemed vaguely familiar.

-
Excellent work DW.  I think they could claim David Cameron as a virtual supporter on the grounds that all teams that play in claret and blue are the same to him.  The team he was once taken to see as a boy toff.

Jimmy Anderson, England fast bowler and record wicker taker.

Right, thanks. Not really followed cricket since Dermot Reeve was playing.

				Excellent piece - very amusing

Even better after we have won  ;)
