Blimey Legion, you have picked exactly the same match predictions as I have. Five points. We really are as miserable as each other ha ha
-
5 points for me. I think we will lose against Norwich in a “
Ex manager hoodoo”
But beat palace , and two draws.

That's Everton's run-in.
-
5 points from the final 6 games! 42 points total.
-
Nah, game-raising wankers Watford and Brentford will both roll over for them.
-
Four draws, now that he's taken the John Gregory pill.

Judging by his fine head of hair he's been taking the John Gregory pill for some time.
WDLDWL although we may well beat Palace at home as well.

You're up and down like the Assyrian empire at the moment!
-
We should be expecting a minimum of 10 points. Under normal circumstances there should be no reason not to expect us to win all but the obvious 2 games.
-
No wins. A draw here and there.
I don't expect anything positive from this team, and their non existent tactics. Though was very pleased with a point at the crisp bowl.
Prove me wrong please, Villa.

Norwich- win
Burnley- lose
Liverpool-lose
Crystal Palace-draw

Horrible also to see on MOTD that we have the least points over the last 5 matches. Given our position earlier in the season, we really have squandered a wonderful opportunity of at least qualifying for the Europa Conference League. We really need to start changing the mindset of players and supporters to knowing we are Aston Villa and mid table is not good enough for us. We should be looking at 7th as an absolute minimum requirement.
-
Min 9 points there
-
Although I have little confidence this will happen, I’m really hoping for a few ‘statement performances’ between now and the end of the season. I mean a couple of big wins nd maybe a spanner in the Citeh/'The Mighty Reds YNWA' sideshow

Shit, but it'll be enough. Onwards and Upwards next season (maybe :-))
-
We might drop some points against the top two. I see no reason why we won't win the rest. With a bit of luck that'll be enough to get us up to 11th again.

Because we have mostly been playing very poorly for several weeks now?
-
We've spluttered a fair bit, but we were our own worst enemies against spuds, and we showed some renewed resilience against Lesta. Those and the cameos from Buendia and Iroegbunam leave me, as ever, optimistic.
-
We should get at least 9. I reckon it will be 7 points.

Compare our second half of the season to Newcastle's.
Both with new managers.
Both have some new signings.
How the new manager has blended the existing squad and the new signings has been very different.
Momentum into next year will be very different too.
Like last season, we have squandered a decent position in the second half of the season.
-
Don't fear. Newcastle have a tricky run-in, and will possibly lose five games or so. Momentum quashed, they can get back in their box and keep paying Johnjoe Shelvey for another year.

Either 4 draws and the 2 obvious defeats, or:
Beat Norwich, 1 point from 6 vs Burnley (Lose away, draw at home), lose to Palace, lose vs the top two.
Either way a miserable 4 points from 18.
Not at Gerrard's door this season, will be next.

Norwich (H) D - Deano will want to prove a point, and I reckon he could get one;
Burnley (A) L - we hardly ever win there, and they've got something to play for;
Liverpool (H) W - Shock win! There, I've said it. Coutinho to score against his old club;
Palace (H) D - An anticlimactic 0-0 draw after the excitement of the win against Liverpool;
Burnley (H) D - just to make us safe, and to give them a chance of survival on the last day of the season;
Man City (L) Probably! Our former captain to look glum on SKY Super Duper Sunday as Liverpool still win the title on goal difference despite losing to Chelsea in the Cup Final.

Yeah, and let's ignore the fact that we lost 7 of our opening 11 games?
-
Pretty much all of us have said a win against Norwich. Oh blimey. Let's hope we don't see the return of benevolent Villa.
-

It might sound perverse but I would say they are going too well atm. This brilliant run combined with the takeover will ratchet up expectations and could be detrimental when they don't get off to a flier next season.

You’d think that our best bet is to get enough points v Norwich Burnley and Palace to be mid table. But end of season games can be as unpredictable as early season ones, so who knows. Surprise win v Liverpool maybe.
-
WLLLDL
Not surprisingly, a bearish forecast.
-
WDLWWL Although I’ve got a feeling we'll snatch a point at Man C
-
I guessed 7 including Leicester. Still think that's about right.
I'm really dissapointed how the season has fizzled out. It's also frustrating to see Newcastle flying have signed just a few workmanlike players we wouldn't have wanted whilst we signed a world star and a French international.
All that said it's still early days. Lots of us were laughing at Arteta and Arsenal last year and over the summer, but fair play to him he's turned it round. Hopefully Gerrard can too once he's had time to get his philosphy over to the players properly.
And let's not forget, having already suffered Pulis, Pardew and Allardyce, Baggies fans are now putting up with Bruce. Things could be a lot worse.

Sticking your neck out there, mate.

Went through various teams yesterday. I reckon 7 more points and 11th. I have Leeds joining Watford and Norwich for the drop. I reckon Liverpool for the title. I hope we give it to them on the last day (obviously that would be extra points on top of the 7).
Burnley A Draw
