Well-put but i'll leave the true praise for Daz to impart.
On the nice illustration used outside VP, did a tram once go by the ground?

Well put as always

Mr R's book tells of the route they used to take.

Lucky I nabbed one of the last copies, it's third from the top of my books to read at the moment!

Great read Dave.

Spot on
Aimless performance, no fight in 1st half, let them stroll around to their hearts content
All of the midfield could be replaced as they are either out of form or not good enough.
Sansom must be on his way in the summer
your point about mid to lower table players is clear, we often wear claret and blue glasses when assessing players , but the harsh reality is not many of our lot would get into a top 4 team, maybe a couple of squad players.
And lastly, they wear a Lion crest on their shirts , they could try paying a bit more like lion hearts

As well written as ever Dave, and summing things up pretty perfectly.
I also mentioned my uplifting walk past the church, Aston Park and Hall and the Holte pub and stand to my neighbour in the Trinity yesterday. Full of potential and promise. Bloody depressing walk back.
When SG first took over, and in our recent 3 win run, we played higher tempo, higher press and moved ball and players with purpose.
Why have we stopped doing this?

Great read Dave.
The pleasure's all mine Daz.

Very well written piece Dave, pretty much sums up how I feel about some of our players plus the difference between the walk to VP and back again following a performance like that.
