Superb write up, Harry, thanks again.
Fair point re Luiz and us missing Marvelous.
Hopefully he can make a difference on his return, as Stevo commented about this as well. I wonder if he was expecting someone who didn’t arrive in January?

Unfair on Dougie i think being singled out. None of us were great but Dougie played a large portion of game with
his facial injury which if to be believed requires some form of surgery. So undoubtedly a fair measure of discomfort.

Understand the feelings for Dougie - battling on despite having had his face re-arranged; but in my view such sympathy is irrelevant.
If he remained on the pitch - either because he talked SG into keeping him on, or SG thought he could do a job - then imo his role was to perform as expected.
Unfair?
Possibly, but we haven't got a team that's good enough to carry players not performing to their very best if we want to progress up the table. Brave though Dougie might have been carrying on - was it the right thing to do?

What an excellent summary young man.
