Where the eff have you been?!
Saturday night out. I figured someone else would do it.
-
I thought I was going to have to start it 😳
-
Come on you lions. I am on an ings assist at 7/1 . Also a watkins assist at 7/1.
-
I thought I was going to have to start it 😳
I thought Sendo was going to start it!
-
Watkins has just missed 4/4 shots in the shooting drill! 😬
-
A win is possible if we repeat our last season's game there.. But honestly i'd take a draw.
-

Saturday night out. I figured someone else would do it.
Saturday nights out are not a good look for we internet football nerds. Don't let it happen again.
-
Watkins has just missed 4/4 shots in the shooting drill! 😬
Surely that bodes well for the game? Because the opposite will now happen. I’m always rifling the ball long and straight at the driving range before a round and then promptly stick it in the bush off the first tee.
-
Anyone got str3ams or links? Please pm me, eternally grateful

My apologies. Also clocks went forward here last night adding to the fuck up. A skin full plus that happening could only end in disaster
-
Watkins has just missed 4/4 shots in the shooting drill! 😬
Just getting it out of his system.
-
So West Ham going strong only Fabianski and Benrahma didn't start on Thursday.
-
Any small rivers available please
-
Hopefully they'll be leggy as the game wears on. Only a Concorde flight back from Seville with deep-skin massages for the duration would possibly keep them fit and fighting in the final 20 minutes today.
-
Ramsey should have been taken out for Morgan though. Hope we don't rue it in a 2-0 defeat.
-
Hesgoal now hesmissedasitter. Need a replacement.
Completely unchanged squad for today, slightly surprised but perhaps we'll see an earlier change.
-
Gutted about Hesgoal

I feel your pain, early Sunday kick-offs are a nightmare with the time difference after a big Saturday night.
-
Any small rivers available please
Me too please.
-
Bigger than a brook, smaller than a river, help needed.
-
Any little estuary or babbling brooks knocking about? :) very grateful if so.
-
Any little estuary or babbling brooks knocking about? :) very grateful if so.
I’d appreciate the water between my toes as well
-
Not on UK TV.
-
I think it's Jack Woodward on Villa TV, what more could you ask for!
-
Close from West Ham. Antonio just shrugged off Luiz. Needs to be stronger
Fuck me. Digne hamstring might be gone. Ash coming on
-

That’s sounds awful
-

Me as well please. Just logged on to Hesgoal and it is no more.
-
Looking iffy at the back again. They're getting in between the midfield and the defence.
-
Digne injured, Young on.
-
Luiz not offering much protection so far, twice they've skipped past him to easily.
-
Digne injured, Young on.
That's a big blow
-
Should have held onto Targett
-
I always find this a strange time for a kick off. Always feel a Sunday roast dinner in here too, very quiet!
-
Unlucky there.
-
Oh fuck me! That was nearly a great little goal from Coutinho! Ramsey did brilliantly.
-
Digne injured, Young on.
That’s a huge blow.
-
As the deluges I normally use can be a little bit behind, when it’s quiet I don’t get my hints of forthcoming action on here!
Ramsey with a superb run there
-
West Ham starting to get on top now
-
Ref is giving us nothing - there's a surprise
-
Could someone send me a river please?
-
And me. A river that is.
-
I don't have any small rivers but I can share an eye pee tee vee group that I use if that's allowed? Probably won't help in time for this game though.
-
Close again for West Ham.
We can’t get a hold of the ball. Just aimlessly clearing it away. Under heavy pressure.
-
Decent game so far. Antonio seems to have the same blessing as Shearer had where he can be as aggressive as he likes without consequence but any contact on him is a foul.
-
Chambers down now.
Edit: seems ok to carry on
-
West Ham elbows flying everywhere in the air. Ref needs to find his whistle.
-
Getting battered here.
-
Looking a bit leggy really.
That's the issue of naming unchanged side when you've played away less than 72 hours before.
-
West Ham are a well drilled side and have been playing this style with a high level of confidence for a while. We need to find a way to get the ball down and get ourselves positioned correctly. They are really stretching us and we are losing our defensive shape.
-
Legginess really isn't an excuse when WH played in Sevilla on Thursday
-
Looking a bit leggy really.
That's the issue of naming unchanged side when you've played away less than 72 hours before.
True. It would also help if we could keep the ball for more than 5 seconds.
-
Could someone send me a river please?
Check your pm’s
-

Very leggy, front two have been dreadful. If Chambers is ok to continue then I think we need to switch it up tactically and get Sanson on in midfield.
-
And me. A river that is.
Check your pm’s

We had a spell of really nice passing earlier, but just haven't managed to get and keep the ball since. All West Ham after that.
-

They were away in Sevilla on Thursday. Dunno if they've made changes though.
-
They're a physical bunch and we're getting dominated a bit. Of course, the referee is indulging them.
-
They're a physical bunch and we're getting dominated a bit. Of course, the referee is indulging them.
It's weird to see how much the refs now choose to let go, after years of fouls for the slightest thing.
-
That was a better spell from us. Nice from Ramsey and Coutinho.
-
Their right back is getting away with a lot
-

It's weird to see how much the refs now choose to let go, after years of fouls for the slightest thing.
I’m fine with that as long as it’s consistent. When we watch how often Man City foul and get away with it, niggly little fouls to break up opponents flow, that’s what needs to be stamped out.
-
west ham letting us have loads of ball but we can't get close to their 18 yard.
-
It turns out a team's league position is directly related to their ability to be cynical fouling bastards every time they lose possession.
Guardiola's legacy to the sport. I hope he's proud of himself.
-
Better play by us. Corner
-

Agreed - 'rotational fouling', as someone on here put it.
-
that should be a penalty. He has completely cleaned Watkins out
-
Think we're on top
-
Nice passage of play from us resulting in a corner.
-
Keeper nowhere near the ball and clatters Ollie.
-
No penalty?
-
Mings wins free kick in a promising position.
-
Digne injured, Young on.
Lucky we weren't stupid enough to let our other full back snd player of the year last season go to help Newcastle stay up........
-
We are the better footballing side - we’ve just got to withstand the Moyes anti football long ball into Antonio tactic, and we’ll create chances. West Ham are a shite footballing team to watch.
-
Watching in a bar in Tenerife. Sadly there are other games the owners see as more likely to bring in punters, so not got the best screen and hard going with the Chelski commentary so loud.
-
Now Doug down for a while. Fuck me
-
Absolutely cracking atmosphere.
-
Elbows flying, high boots, getting tackled on corners.. of all the days to have an Aussie referee who’s in the wrong sport. Feck off.
-
Digne injured, Young on.
Lucky we weren't stupid enough to let our other full back snd player of the year last season go to help Newcastle stay up........
Young's been fine since he came on.
Him whipping in that cross just now was like going back a decade when Carew or Laursen would flick in the cross.
-
Absolutely cracking atmosphere.
If you like cracking atmospheres as being like libraries, the Emptihad or exam halls.
-
Thuggish side, this lot.
In true Moyes fashion.
If he could stick another totem pole alongside Rice and Soucek he would.
-
that should be a penalty. He has completely cleaned Watkins out
Thought Watkins was pushed into him. We have taken the sting out of them a bit the last 10 mins. The game started well but both teams struggling with the pace. We have plenty of options and need to use the last two subs early.
-
This ref is dire....they're getting away with so many late challenges on our front two.
-
This ref is dire....they're getting away with so many late challenges on our front two.
He's been the ref in one of our games earlier this season. Can't remember which, but I do remember he was rubbish then too
-
We are not getting close enough to them in midfield, there is no press so they are attacking at will
-
0-0 at half time.
-
Don't get McGinn taking the FKs, not enough height at all.
Surely makes sense for Young to take them from the left as inswingers are always more tricky to defend.
-
Entertaining enough game. West Ham are playing with great confidence and thuggish brutality.
We’ve had some nice passages of play, but quite deadlocked.
-
A proper Moyes team. Big and powerful. And dirty. We can beat these and overtake them next year I'm sure of it.
-
Thuggish side, this lot.
In true Moyes fashion.
If he could stick another totem pole alongside Rice and Soucek he would.
Absolutely - they might’ve had some success shithousing their way to europa league, but they’re dreadful to watch. With their only decent footballer Bowen out too it’s even worse.
-
Just home. Any help with a flow for the second half would be appreciated.
-
Absolutely cracking atmosphere.
If you like cracking atmospheres as being like libraries, the Emptihad or exam halls.
Arsenal’s the library, this more a morgue.
-
Absolutely cracking atmosphere.
I assume that’s sarcasm?
They’re doing us down our right a bit too easily. We seem a bit scared of their central midfield, and haven’t had much penetration.
-
Hope Digne isn't out for any length of time, but if it's a hamstring it could be a while.
Ash is OK as a one off here and there, or coming off the bench. But wouldn't be confident with him starting our remaining games.
I'd almost be thinking about Mings @ left back and Chambers/Konsa at centre half, should it come to it.
-
They aren’t exactly breaking us down in the final third, as they are mainly relying on getting the ball outside and playing in a cross. We can get something out of this but the referee has to snuff out the bully ball before someone gets injured. This is dinosaur stuff from West Ham.
-
Absolutely cracking atmosphere.

I thought Benrahma looked dangerous down our right side first 10-15, but Cash seems to have got to grips with him now and he’s been less involved.
-
HT
Two tired looking sides that played on Thursday without many changes. We need some freshening up. Just a shame we made one enforced change already.
-

I agree! VAR should be intervening there.
-
I’m sitting amongst the spammers and day trippers and fuck me it’s like I’m at the cinema. Where’s the noise they go on about.
That benrama can’t cross or pass for shit.
Anotonio looks like a donkey so bound to score thanks to a Mings slip.
-

Think he just went and sat down behind the bench so probably looking at back after next international break.
Young done fine so far but he would struggle if they moved Antonio to the right.
Pretty flat game so far imo, can tell both teams played on Thursday tbh.
We have two subs left so interested what Gerrard does, does feel like Buendia could work today as another pressing option dropping deep in midfield and keep Coutinho in that pocket off the strikers.
Not sure on the other sub. I feel we'll probably be o.k with 0-0.
-
We look jaded
-
Playing well. United getting frustrated. Defence has been very good.
-
Might be a good game for Sanson too, would add some more coverage in our midfield. Maybe for one of Ings or Watkins?
-
This ref is dire....they're getting away with so many late challenges on our front two.
He's been the ref in one of our games earlier this season. Can't remember which, but I do remember he was rubbish then too
Commentator said it is his first EPL game, first ref outside of Britain and Ireland (Aussie). Ref has been fine. It's a physical battle as expected v West Ham.
-

Buendia/Bailey/Traore for one of the forwards, and Sanson for Luiz, for me.

He's from Gold Coast - seems to be reffing to Aussie Rules standards.

I think the ref has been alright.
-
Thanks folks.
-
You can see why nobody wanted to put this on TV in the UK.
-

Definitely

It isn't. It's his sixth Premier League game, second involving Villa after the home draw with Leeds.
-

I think the ref has been alright.
As Rice puts an elbow into Coutinho’s ear, and he has to stay down to get the call.
::)
-
Antonio going off you'd think.
Hopefully we can push up a bit more now.
-

I knew it wasn't his first! I have a relative with the same surname, Gillett, so it stuck in my mind
-
Filthy elbow on Coutinho and no booking! Ridiculous.
-
Who they playing as CF now? Yarmolenko is a wide player.
-
Nice reception for Yarmolenko
-
I only know one West Ham fan. He went to prison last year.
I feel this may be representative.
-
Game opening up a bit now…
-
Crossing not been good enough today, too easy for West Ham to cut out.
-
Injuries galore. A long season catching up with them maybe.
-
Another dirty bastard coming on for Cresswell.
-
Great save from Ings effort
-
Damn. Great save from Ings
-
IMHO SG should have freshened it up a bit today after Thursday. We will time more around 60 mins and probably lose this game narrowly.
-
Lucky West Ham
-
One of the saves of the season there.
With their injuries this game is here for the winning for us in last half hour.
-
This Johnson is an absolute bombscare. Now playing on the wrong side. Get Bailey running at him last 25.
-
That has to be one of the greatest saves ever by Emi
-
And Emi then just matches Fabianski for save of the season
-
That is an incredible save from Emi. Wow.
-
Wow, lucky there.
Can only see them scoring from set piece.
Brilliant save from Emi.
Think we need some subs to freshen up now.
-
Cat like reactions from Emi to deny Zouma.
-
I'd take Ings off now and strengthen the midfield.
-
Chambers fucked again
-
The referee has to get these elbows under control. It’s been ALL match and he doesn’t even seem to care.
-
We look physically fucked.
-
Ings off for another midfielder for me.
-
That’s a nasty elbow.
-
We look physically fucked.
Both teams do!
-
Forget Leeds, this is the dirtiest team we’ve played this season by a country mile. Awful.
-
VAR is okay with that forearm on Chambers..? They do seem to just make it up as they go.
-
We look physically fucked.
Both teams do!
Well we have two subs left. Traore and Bailey barely played all season and Buendia well rested so not like we can't do anything.
-
There's a surprise - VAR don't think there's anything wrong with the forearm smash from Dawson
-
That’s a nasty elbow.
They're allowed, apparently.
No, me neither.
-
Cat like reactions from Emi to deny Zouma.
Mint…🤣🤣
-
That’s a nasty elbow.
They're allowed, apparently.
No, me neither.
We all know when that sort of thing would be penalised!
-
The offside flag rule is just so fucking stupid
-
Agree. What the fuck is the point in that offside flag rule?
-
We are really are getting so pinned back now. We need a change badly. Midfield completely being overrun
-
Leon coming on for Ings
-
Need changes.
Losing this in midfield.
-
Playing false 9 here seems to be helping West Ham.
-
Ings is knackered out. Take him off.
-
Idiot.
-
Bailey for Ings
-
FUUUUUUCKKKKK
-
Shit
-
Ah balls.
-
Ings been awful apart from shot that nearly went in.
Interested what Bailey does.
-
It’s been coming.
-
From the Ukrainian Yarmalenko
-
Bailey for Ings
Watkins seems to be an untouchable. So poor today.
-
Had to be him didn't it?
Good goal though to be fair.
-
It was coming Gerrard left it too late
-
ah crap.
-
That was coming tbh.
Good finish.
We haven't offered anything nearly enough today once we cross the halfway line.
-
That had been coming for ages. Good finish, they're a good team.
-
second best for most of this game
-
Fucking standing off them again in the box. Fuck sake. I forgive Yarmolenko though.
-
A much bigger test than our previous 3. However, we haven’t shaped up badly against them at all…
We’re not quite there yet. But we will be.
-
Over run in midfield nothing sticking when we have played it forward.
-
Playing Leeds always seems to leave us absolutely knackered in the next game.
-
That had been coming for ages. Good finish, they're a good team.
Bad match up for us these days no doubt.
We shouldn't just accept them finishing 10 + points clear of us every season though considering what we're spending.
-
I'd get Sanson and Buendia on. We just don't seem to have anything in midfield.
-
This has been piss poor. As dominant as our midfield was on Thursday, they have been totally ineffective today
-
We haven’t offered much in the second half though.
-
Horrible, thuggish side that I feel very confident we'll be bypassing in the next 18 months... But still annoying that we've not really been able to create anything
-
Is it fair to say I don't mind him scoring?
-
We are so inconsistent . Could we just occasionally grind out a fucking draw please?
-
I'd get Sanson and Buendia on. We just don't seem to have anything in midfield.
We’ll need to fake a concussion sub then.
-
McGinn's been absolutely useless btw.
-
We haven’t been at the races today in an attacking context. Playing fluid football against the lower teams and then going up against some of the best is a very different challenge. West Ham’s size, physicality and organization has served to completely disrupt our forward momentum.
-
Toothless in second half reckons Sky.
-
That had been coming for ages. Good finish, they're a good team.
Bad match up for us these days no doubt.
We shouldn't just accept them finishing 10 + points clear of us every season though considering what we're spending.
I guess we could say they've had a really good season and ours has been very topsy-turvy, so maybe from that perspective, it's not too bad to finish behind them. We've not been outclassed today, just outplayed.
-
A much bigger test than our previous 3. However, we haven’t shaped up badly against them at all…
We’re not quite there yet. But we will be.
We won't if we never rotate the team enough after midweek games next season.
Very O'Neill esque today in how it's panned out.
-
I'd get Sanson and Buendia on. We just don't seem to have anything in midfield.
how you gonna do that.? We only have one sub left
-
Poor
-
We've been shite.
-
Good for him though.
-
We look knackered.
-
So many poor touches.
-
Jesus Ollie can you just retain the damn ball once?!
-
I'd get Sanson and Buendia on. We just don't seem to have anything in midfield.
how you gonna do that.? We only have one sub left
Just hoping the ref, like me, doesn't notice.
-

We cant match them physically - and they have started to overrun the midfield - were too narrow, I would be tempted to push some bailey out wide
-
Horrible, thuggish side that I feel very confident we'll be bypassing in the next 18 months
That's exactly what we were saying 18 months ago!
-
Jesus Ollie can you just retain the damn ball once?!
Donkey feet.
-
Back 4 under constant pressure, hoofing it clear, no fluidity in our play.
Midfield anonymous and absent. Front 2 haven't been able to hold the ball.
West Ham physical and uncompromising when they need to be - to good effect.
-
I'd get Sanson and Buendia on. We just don't seem to have anything in midfield.

Just hoping the ref, like me, doesn't notice.
You could be right 😀
-
They have become a bit of a bogey side since we came back.
-
Free kick in a good position.
How can we cock this up? When did we last score a free kick?
-
Free kick in a good position.
How can we cock this up? When did we last score a free kick?
Probably Hourihane 3 years ago
-
For those of you who are running behind on the streams… we didn’t score from that free kick.
-
We certainly aren't scoring a corner today v them.
-
Floaty fucking corners. I hate them.
Whip it with pace you twats!
-
At least someone is shooting for us. Bailey with a decent shot
-
Criticism way over the top in my view. We've held up well against a very good and powerful side.
-
Criticism way over the top in my view. We've held up well against a very good and powerful side.
Seconded
-
Criticism way over the top in my view. We've held up well against a very good and powerful side.
The very minute I write that...
-
Thought Martinez should have stopped the goal. Great first touch by Yarmolenko but not much power in the shot.
-
GAME OVER FUCK ME
-
Liking Bailey's cameo so far.
I'd start him v Arsenal.
-
Game over
-
Oh bollocks to it
-
We have been boring to watch today.
And nowhere near good enough.
-
Not a foul on Bailey?!?!
-
All started by Declan Rice. Excellent counter attack
-
How is that not a foul?
-
That's that then.
-
Turned it off now
-
Getting what we deserve.
-
All started by Declan Rice. Excellent counter attack
Didn't he foul Bailey to get the ball?
-
This season is so stop start. One step forward two back. Only bonus today is that other results going for us provided Arsenal beat Leicester.
-
They are just a better side than us at this moment in time.
-
nowhere near good enough to win this one today
-
Shove those bubbles up your fucking arse. Piss poor marking again.
-
Not a foul on Bailey?!?!
I honestly didn't think it was.
-
Got everything we deserved, nothing.
-
Good goal but Martinez should have done better.
-
All started by Declan Rice. Excellent counter attack
Didn't he foul Bailey to get the ball?
I didn’t think it was much to be honest. Bailey went down way too easily.
-
Ref is fucking trash.
-
Scruffy narrow shite.
-
This season is so stop start. One step forward two back. Only bonus today is that other results going for us provided Arsenal beat Leicester.
How is losing away to West Ham two steps back?
-
Good goal but Martinez should have done better.
His view was completely blocked by Mings
-
All started by Declan Rice. Excellent counter attack
Didn't he foul Bailey to get the ball?
I didn’t think it was much to be honest. Bailey went down way too easily.
He put his knee right through him. Watch it again.
-
Bad day at the office - Nothing working today.
Gerrard should have freshened up that midfield with Sanson today imo, but 'we go again'.
-
i still think we struggle against physical sides
-
I think this is the third game in a row we have been unable to cope with the Kit Stealer's physicality.
-
Watkins has been fkin awful. Has he completed 1 pass the whole game?
-
This season is so stop start. One step forward two back. Only bonus today is that other results going for us provided Arsenal beat Leicester.
How is losing away to West Ham two steps back?
I mean as in every time we try and keep a good run going we lose. Be nice to get a draw once in a while.

i still think we struggle against physical sides
The ref set the tone and let it go on. Dinosaur ball.

Next season. We’ll get this bunch next season.
We did ok until they started to push in the second half. Then we were just too sluggish with the changes and our midfield got overridden.
This is the level we need to challenge against if we want Europe.
-
This season is so stop start. One step forward two back. Only bonus today is that other results going for us provided Arsenal beat Leicester.
How is losing away to West Ham two steps back?
I mean as in every time we try and keep a good run going we lose. Be nice to get a draw once in a while.
Yeah, those are a rarity.
-
They upped their game in the second half and we haven't.
-
West Ham improved with their subs
-
Dreadful goal to give away....Bailey, McGinn and Martinez all terrible for it. I know taking off Luiz is the easy option but McGinn is rancid as a holding midfielder.
We deserve nothing today anyway. Gerrard should have freshened up the starting line up. Left it far too long to take off Ings.
-
This is a very tough stretch of games for us now.
-
The West Ham midfield needs to be the same set up for us next season with two brilliant holding midfielders. They run the game for West Ham and we haven't come close to them today.
-
They’re a very good side and have the best central midfielder in the league in Rice but bringing Bailey on was a terrible move as he gets bullied off the ball.
-
Get in!

Fuck that. We've been 'draw specialists' for most of my life. I'd much rather win three then lose one.
-
Unlucky Emi.
-
Scorenado!?
-
Hooray. Game on???
-
Great finish JJ, well done Emi.
-
Unlucky Buendia.

It was 0-0. We looked tired and they were going through us in midfield. But we wanted to win. I didn’t see an issue with it
Ooooh maybe…nice goal
-
RAMSEY!!
-
Nice finish from JJ!
-
Watkins has been fkin awful. Has he completed 1 pass the whole game?
He has been rotten. Bullied physically and first touch of a rhino again. Keinan Davis on his Forest form would be pushing him very hard for a spot.
-
A SNAFU performance against a team I begrudgingly respect. It’s a pisser but maybe the game Thursday meant we were a bit tired?
-
Ah I fucking love Buendia.
-

Yeah we struggle with this, there just bigger and quicker than us. In the second half they have just overran us in midfield.
Would like us to show more width, but the fact of the matter is there a better side than us, and have been since we came up.
Good goal mind
-
2-1
-
How much injury time?
-
6 minutes. Come on Villa!
-
Cracking goal that. Buendia can count himself unlucky to have been dropped lately.
-
Watkins has been fkin awful. Has he completed 1 pass the whole game?
I've stopped counting today the number of times I've screamed 'Oh fuck off Watkins'.
-
Ah I fucking love Buendia.
I love him more. That was pure class.
-
My goodness what a fucking goal that is.
-
I’m glad to see us having a go.
We don’t look too far off their level bearing in mind they’re in Europe and that’s what we want.
-
This referee does not give a fuck about player safety. The amount of stoppages due to head injuries is all you need to know. No discipline at all.
-
Goal? You talking about JJ's? My stream is behind..... its still 2-1!?
-
Oh, Ash.. come on man. My lord.
-
Got my hopes up there I guess!

Strange logic

Sigh…FT
Probably the right result
-
FT
-
Full time.
-
I can't believe how wasteful that dropball play was from Ashley Young. As bad as McGinn's pass from his short free kick at Newcastle.

How so?
He isn’t blowing fouls.. he’s forced to stop play due to the new rules.
Chambers twice, Coutinho from rice, Luiz twice, cash once. ONE foul.

Yes, bloody useless
-
Ashley Young FFS.
-
Normal business resumed...
Rather be us than Everton though!

Some of them aren't fouls. When players were down he stopped the play like a ref is supposed to. The amount of stoppages is just the ref doing his job.

I can’t tell if you are being sarcastic? You’ve got to be kidding, right?
Dawson literally put an elbow into chambers teeth coming in for a corner. Rice threw an elbow into Coutinho’s ear from behind. First play of the game Antonio turned around, elbowed Luiz in the mouth and took off with the ball.
-
Ah I fucking love Buendia.
Me too. I felt sure he would come on for Ings and win us the game once we got to the 70 minute mark. Couldn’t believe that Bailey was sent on. Buendia offers graft and guile that helps all the departments of the team. Sadly I knew what would happen when Bailey came on. Watford repeated.
