There's nothing irrational about not liking Leeds!
-
The only times I've ever felt afraid as a female at games the other club involved was Leeds.
-
Coventry City and SHA as a male for me.
-
Great read Dave.

Never been to the Dell or st Mary’s. Was the dell away end really worse than Highfield Rd? That’s the shittest away end I’ve ever been in. Remember as a kid having a bit of a flap feeling crushed getting out of there. Big fence down the middle meant you couldn’t see anything in the other corner at that end. Absolute toilet of a ground.

Quite.

Great read Dave. I put it down to auto suggestion but I found myself as I read your words touching a scar on the top of my head sustained from a dustbin lid thrown down on us Villa fans herded into that barbaric hell hole they used to call home.
-
Great read Dave.
My pleasure Daz.
-
I remember being in a worrying crush in the away end at the Baseball Ground.
-
I agree about the baseball ground. Was that Cascarino's debut game? Frightening!
Another frightening ground was Loftus Road. Your feet not touching the terracing was scarey.
-
A very fair assessment of yesterday and games against Southampton over the years (when was the last time anyone saw them abbreviated to So'ton?). I only went to The Dell once and wasn't in the away end but agree about Highfield Road as that never ever felt safe.
-
The Dell and Shitefield Rd we're similarly awful, and Dave touched on something there with away fans not being welcome.
Not in a sense of hostility from the fans, that's a given, but from the clubs themselves. It's hard to put a finger on it, but it felt like they thought of you as lesser human beings.

Me too. Literally not being able to move at times.

Would be worse now Brian as a wheelie bin would be attached to the lid.

A good read as usual Dave, the Chambers - Phil - Douglas goal was a thing of beauty and shows what we are capable of.
Also agree on Grealish, the level that Phil can play to is a different one to Jack, I’m not saying a part of me wouldn’t say no to him back, but for us now and the style of play we are going for Phil is the superior player, if we do have an agreement to pay £33m for him then get it done.

It's been a while but its nice to read Dave's articles with a grin on your face.

I would have him back like a shot and I’m still pissed if he left as I think. He would have loved playing with these guys

Coventry and Man Utd for me. SHA just amuse me more than anything.
