It’s a very witty comment on a style of commentary that SM exemplifies, and, that I rather enjoy.

I can’t be doing with constant screaming or cursory names barked out and guessing if they’re passing or what.

The studio presenters tried to tactfully point out that Conte might have just been a bit 'emosh' but Sam was having none of it, speaking in the hushed but self important tone of somebody who had just brokered a peace detail between Russia and Ukraine. The silly tit.
