Leeds, with added arrogance.

Spot on

I really don't get the media's obsession with Bielsa except that he sits on a bucket and still needs a translator - plus he plays naieve attacking football that frequently gets found out. Yet you go in Waterstones and there's at least two Bielsa biographies to be found. Dean Smith achieved as much if not more but no book for him. I say that with a bit of tongue in cheek but it's true.

Yep, catches the current mood even though things can change very quickly. Not sure about the 'hackneyed cloches' though...

Me: Didn't want Terry as a player-ate my words, Terry as a coach; ditto. Gerard as a manager, no thanks. Couthinho, very doubtful. Sometimes it's nice to be completely wrong.

I was too young to remember and hate the old dirty Leeds of the early seventies. I actually cheered Leeds on when they pipped Manure to the title in the early nineties.

Spot on Dave.

Dirty Leeds !

I don't post on here anywhere near as much as I used to, but reading this has brought me out of my self-imposed isolation purely to say ''Amen, yes, yes and yes a hundred times over.'' I despise Leeds and the very fact that this club is somehow now acceptable to talk favourably is further proof that football has a very short memory.

Great read and thankfully not too arrogant ;)
