The book turned up yesterday. Literally what it says on the cover - chapters cover decades and how each side was formed and got on. It also covers non league W Midlands sides when relevant. A good purchase from what I've read so far.

Whats nice is it  covers the Villa up to the end of last season making it the most up to date book we've got until the new Complete Record comes out later this year or so I've heard. It's not a book that goes into mega depth with statistics which often puts people off. And seeing as the coverage is equally fair to our local neighbours some Villa fans might not want to read so much about the Noses and Tesco Bags.
