Bit of a missed opportunity that.
We played very well first half but stupid Cash challenge hurt us.
Chelsea half we didn't react well at all to Chelsea going 4-3-3, Gerrard surely would've done something quicker if on the touchline.
Think lack of training hurt us after that as was pretty comfortable for them.
Still a week to get some more players back for Brentford.

Ings and Watkins a waste of time.
Buendia was knackered after half hour.
Mings pathetic against Lukaku.
Thank god Tuesday is off as Leeds are desperate for a win.

Excellent first half. Gifted them a penalty when really they were shit up to then. Second half we just never got going and were far too passive, the pressing disappeared and Chelsea did tlwhat they needed to with the players they've got. I still think we're headed in the right direction and Gerrard should be back for Brentford. Now I've just got to put up with cocky Chelsea fans who for me are by far the worst kind of fuckers you have to put up with - worse than United fans.

Mings doesn't like playing against big strikers, does he? Piss-poor in the second half.

We play so narrow in attack it's like trying to run through treacle and neither of our full backs can cross a ball. Hopefully we'll upgrade in January.
Ings and Watkins were both a waste of space. Ings runs like a 90 year old and Watkins can't trap a bag of cement. Brainless.
We really missed SJM. It meant Ramsey had to play way too deep.
Other than that we did okay especially 1st half.

Don't see how we were excellent in the first half? Bog-average all game. Our narrow shape in the first half meant Chelsea were getting plenty of crossing chances and you just knew once they threw Lukaku on, that would be sure-fire strategy.

2nd half was dreadful, nobody to make any impact or impression
Some neat football at times but our 1st shot on target was El Ghazi
Need that tough midfielder.
