Which manager(s) do you really NOT want? I have allowed up to three choices per poster.
-
I can't pick Gerrard three times? Booo!
-
Poor Hjulmand. Nobody wants him, and nobody doesn't want him. Perhaps we could have a third poll "who have you never heard of?" Reckon he'd top that!

There needs to be a short term amnesty on site rules allowing users to login via multiple aliases specifically for this purpose.
-
Neil Lennon.

Would be below Sunday Tesco for me, from the above list.
-
It was actually quite hard reducing my definitely don’t want list from 8 down to 3.
-
Gerrard for me, watching Scotland's premier league doesn't convince me, wouldn't even compare it to the championship, it's so poor
-
Neil Lennon.
He'd be worth it just for the marketing opportunities of having the hottest, most handsome manager in football.
-
Domenico Tedesco? Thought that was one of them cook-in sauces.
-
Neil Lennon.

His warm, open, everyman style of management would have everyone gushing, a Celtic Claudio Ranieri.

And his English is improving all the time.
Fuck it, let's get him in. With MON as Director of Football to handle signings and wages.

And just think of the welcome he'd give Sralex too.
-
Hell no to Lampard. That would be a utter disaster
-
Nuno - boredom / death by a 1000 cuts.
-
Lampard Nuno and Parker
-
Martinez. Failed at Everton. Failed with Belgium.
Lampard, not a good manager and the players were happy to see him go as he had zero tactical input.
Nuno, just think it's too soon, although he's a good manager.
Gerard... Just the voice.
-
Can I vote three times for Gerrard?
-
Which manager(s) do you really NOT want? I have allowed up to three choices per poster.
You left Martinez, Thierry Henry and Howe off the list to boost the number of votes for Stevie G. A shameless undermining of the democratic process. >:(
-
Can I vote three times for Gerrard?
In spirit, yes mate.
-
Edited.
-
Edited.
How do I change my vote? I only voted for the first Gerrard, I don't want that to be taken as tacit endorsement of the second or third...
-
Terry
Lampard
Gerrard
-
Gerard... Just the voice.
Not an easy listen tbf which also rules out Emma Hayes.
-
I don't mind the voice, I just think he's a wanker.
-
Please change this to offer a 'select all' box. Cheers

I do mind the voice and think he's a wanker.

Haha I can't take issue with that!
-
Hasenhutti, two 9-0 defeats in consecutive seasons? No thanks
-
There is no chance Terry isnt getting it
But i could see us going for him of he is successful in his 1st job as manager elsewhere
-
There is no chance Terry isnt getting it
What does this even mean?
-
It's code, I think.
The fat is in the fryer - Louis Van Gaal
One hand washes the other - Bid for Terry Venables

Wow! What a backroom team!
-
How can you not have Joey Barton in that backroom team?
-
Paul Jewell, Neil Warnock or Phil Brown. Oh and no to Barry Fry and Zola too.
-
Who's Lee Johnson?
-
Who's Lee Johnson?
*wipes milk from mouth*
Exactly.
-
Boris Johnson's illegitimate son (one of many) by Gypsy Rose Lee.

Any chance I could be allowed 6 votes please?

Potter
28% win ratio at Brighton yet made out to be some sort of football God.
-
Nuno because he’s a firm favourite of 352 and pretty boring.
Gerrard for no other reason than the Liverpool connection in every single thing we will do for the rest of his time here.
Terry because he divides too much opinion amongst us fans and will create bigger divide than Brexit.

Potter

….and did really well in a pub league. Like Gerrard. Yet some don’t like Gerrard because of his Liverpool connection, and didn’t like Terry because of Chelsea. At some point we need to remove the inferiority complex. I imagine Guardiola is a Barcelona fanatic and I imagine Klopp would get an enormous reception from the Dortmund yellow wall….doesn’t necessarily mean they spend their careers fawning about it.
-
Like many on here, Frank Terrard
-
Potter is rated because last season you could see how well they played. It was a running joke just how many chances they created without scoring. It therefore doesn't take much to then start gaining more points when you start putting them away. I can see why he's rated but it's still a relatively small sample size. Would I prefer him over Gerrard though? Yes. Is there better? Yes. Gerrard really hasn't done that much in a two team league. Could he still be decent? Yes. Do I want to risk it? No.

Its not particularly the inferiority complex its more the fawning over Anfield when visiting and its a steppingstone to the Liverpool Job.

Martinez also went down with Wigan.

He did win the FA Cup though.

If Gerrard got the Liverpool job after Klopp then it would almost certainly mean he’d done a brilliant job at AVFC. I’ll take that, especially as Klopp going anywhere is years away
-
It isn't that Gerrard is an ex Liverpool player per se, it's that him being an ex Liverpool player who it's known Purslow admires seems to be the main reason he's being linked.
If Zombies had won the Europa league last year or gone deep into the latter stages of champions league Id be all aboard the G-train. As it stands he's done OK in Scotland just as Celtic imploded.
Further more I've been trying to think of the last time a famous English player went on to have a good managerial career.
England internationals who went on to become good club managers.
John Barnes - nope
Bryan Robson - nope
Tony Adams - nope
Stuart Pearce - nope
Alan Shearer- nope
Paul Scholes - nope
Gary Neville - nope
Paul Ince - nope
Steven Gerrard the thinking mans after dinner speaker is going to buck that trend is he? Is he bollocks.
Our last trophy was in 1996, Aberdeen won their first trophy since 1996 under Derek McInnes so clearly if achievements in Scotland count he should be in the frame too along with Neil Lennon and Gordon Strachan.
-
Alex McLeish
Too soon?
-
Domenico Tedesco translates as Dominic German so maybe worth a shout!!
-
Potter, Nuno, AVB are three nopes.
-
Here's a bold prediction: Gerrard will only ever manage one Premier League club, and it will be for less than 12 months. I hope it's not us.

I do not want Harry Redknapp, Martin O'Neill, Trevor Francis, Steve Bruce or Mick McCarthy

When the new appointment is announced we should have another poll whether we would rather re-appoint Dean Smith.
-
Just no one Scottish or managing a Scottish club. And I say that as someone with strong connections to Scotland.
-
Ollie I am mostly offering Dogheads, Noses and Tescobags outside.

Paul Scholes
Although there would be some nail-biting games
