That's a beauty.

Especially this: "Every Villa player gave his all and Cameron Archer’s header, coming just ten minutes after Chelsea had gone into the lead, was not only deserved, it was worthy of such a stage. A few months ago he was struggling to get a game for Solihull Moors; now he’s taking on and matching the best in Europe. That’s not bad progress."

I think the game could be more important in the long term than a win on the night.

The performance justified the manager's faith, the players experienced holding their own with the European Champions. It was a vindication of the approach and will encourage both to be brave going forward, and that will serve us well.

There are very few teams that could have played that well with as many changes as we had.

I agree with LeeB.
