Title: Aston Villa Match worn shirt collections
Post by: ElliottAV on March 16, 2021, 01:18:25 PM: Hi all, as I am fairly new to this page it would be great to see everybody’s match worn/player issue shirts from past times to retrace the good and maybe not so good memories us supports have! UTV

Post by: Brazilian Villain on March 16, 2021, 02:44:45 PM: During the 2002 World Cup the Celtic club doctor gave me a Jackie McNamara signed shirt from the 2001/02 season. I gave it to my first cousin who's a Celtic season ticket holder as he had got me a Villa team poster signed by the European Cup winning team 20 years previously.

Jackie McNamara's dad (also called Jackie McNamara) used to, or maybe still does, run a pub near where my parents lived. I have no signed shirts, or indeed anything relevant to post on this thread. True story.
