Get a rescue dog with a vague idea of what breed he/she is. You will marvel at their ability to seek out shit and dive head first into it.

I found a case the other day where someone defrosted their dog which they keep in the freezer and annually it does again in June to pay for a summer holiday. Pet fraud is barely considered and absolutely rife. I like my new gig even if I have to spend time in Krakow.

Ha, ha tell me about it mate, as a senior insurance/claims manager I know all about claims fraud. I could tell you loads of stories (no doubt you've heard the same). Some people are gobsmackingly stupid with their claims.
