Unless all the Man U fans vote for our match.

I voted for our game. I remember watching it in my local and we scored the winner whilst I had popped to the toilet.

The last seconds of injury time and you popped to the toilet! Were you just pissed off? ;)

Done, Ashley was 'world class' that day, surprise to see Fellaini was playing for Everton that long ago.
Just a thought, why can't the Beeb show both matches.

When Lescott equalised I sat there with my head in my hands and was about to get up and make a cup of tea but lethargy brought joy.

I watched it in a pub in Leicester, there was one Everton fan and I was the only Villa fan. Everton fan jumped up shouting and looked over at me from across the pub with a big smile on his face. Then he went to the bar and ordered a pint. We scored, he cancelled his pint and I gave him the smuggest grin of all time as he left in a right huff. Lovely stuff.

The best story I’ve heard about this is from an Everton perspective. This bloke, a staunch Everton fan was on holiday with his wife in Paris and on a river cruise on the Seine. He managed to persuade the boat crew to put the match on the TV that was there. A lot of the people on board also watched as this bloke got more and more animated. They were interested in him more than the game because of his antics. When Lescott equalised he did a merry jig up and down the boat much to everyone’s amusement. He continued this celebration even as Young got the winner. And only stopped when someone pointed up to the TV. He told me that the whole boat burst out laughing at his jaw dropped face.

YT blocked my video of this goal so I bring to you:

Last time we saw Mark Fletcher but what a performance.

Brilliant! Just showed this to my 6 year old daughter and 9 year old son and they were in stitches! MOTM Mark Fletcher.
I remember watching this in the Holte Pub when the club briefly showed Sky away games. Along with about 30 other Villains we went from ecstasy to agony and back again . A win or loss late in the game as always is worth double the pain or pleasure 😀

That Fanzone has wiped me out 😂😂
I actually had no idea we had won this one until about 10 minutes after the game, I went into a diva sulk after their injury time equaliser.
-
I was there. Absolutely brilliant, as someone said agony to ecstasy within seconds.

Jesus, was that Mark Fletcher? I had no idea.
-
It isn't.

Sorry, slight rememblance and his type of humour. A cousin maybe.

Which game won the poll by the way - forgot to check!!
