I like that Neves and their Jota aren't involved at all. And Adama who's been in decent form. Not a bad line up for us.

Would have preferred a slightly stronger line up, perhaps containing the first choice full backs and McGinn. Having said that we really should be beating that Wolves team pretty comfortably. Well, I assume we should. Ryan Bennett and their first choice keeper on the bench are the only members of their squad I’ve heard of.

Cutrone is a threat. Plays for the Italian U21s with Kean from Everton. Two heavy hitters at that level

A dreadful team selection. Treating “our cup” with disrespect. I would rather play the first team tonight and win and play this team on Saturday.

But you must realise that this years ‘second 11’ Are much improved from previous regimes prem/championship starting 11.
That 11 plus bench should be good enough to beat what’s in front of them

Why play such a weakened team, relatively speaking, on Saturday? Tonight's first XI should be strong enough to beat what is in front of them. Save the first choice XI for Saturday.

No I haven’t written anything off, maybe Engles and Guilbert could have started, would be happier with a stronger looking defence, but let’s hope the lads playing take the chance and have a stormer

I don't think this is down to who is up front, put Kane up there and he'd be as isolated and ineffective because the accuracy of the passing in the final 3rd isn't there. I can think of 2 good passes into the box, 1 for Trez where the defender got across and 1 for the goal.

It doesn’t help that our forwards aren’t the smartest when it comes to movement either though. I don’t disagree that we don’t create a lot from midfield and we need to attack as a unit but the forwards at our club are very static.

Are the away fans in the North Stand?

Yes.  They are entitled to 10% of the ground apparently.

Imagine 10,000 of them at Camp Nou explaining their world domination plans to the locals. Well jeal.

I must say, the way they go on, I was expecting alot more from their kids. I thought their kids were supposed to be far superior to any of our squad, or something like that?

On a serious note, I think their kids have done ok. Sanderson looks a good prospect.

To be fair, I was probably being unfair there. As clubs with similar stature and history, I understand that Wulvs have a lot of respect for Barcelona.

Nothing against Davis, just gives us more variety and a bit of unpredictability.

I'm not sure I agree, there's been a couple of lapses but our defence has been well on top for most of the game. Our defence (all of them) have bags of ability but do have a slight tendency to be a bit casual at times and sometimes lose their concentration. Taylor is the weak link because he is also far too poor in possession but getting rid of the small mistakes would make a huge difference, that's the challenge for the coaches and players.
