Expected points
Spurs - 0
Bournemouth - 1 or 3
Everton -0 or 1
Palace - 1
West Ham-1 or 3
We're a little behind where I'd have liked us to be and find ourselves just outside the Relegation Zone, Can't fault the effort from the players but there's far too many sloppy passes and stupid Mistakes have cost us.
It looks like in the final third we are going to struggle, Wesley looks isolated and has a slight bad attitude IMO, that dive last night, I never hope to see again. He looks as frustrated as Hogan did up here
DS needs to change it up and his Subs have been Bruce like, which suprises me. When they went down to ten men we should have had been more attack minded, got to feel sorry for Hourihane and Keinan.
Defensively we look fine, Arsenal away will be a big test with their power up top and then it's Burnley at home, we need 3 points from that one or the season could well be over for us by Christmas!

I was with you until the last paragraph.

Lets not forget it was March 1st this year and we were 13th in the Championship! It eventually all clicked.
Defensively we are sound, its the front 3 thats the problem, if we had a high quality top 3 we would be doing very well I think, the rest of the team is in good shape.
We have to hope at least one of Jota/El Ghazi/Trezeguet clicks soon and have to hope one of Wesley/Davis/Kodjia clicks soon.
If not we may need to spend very big in January to secure at least 2 forward players.

I'm less worried. We look good enough defensively. It's not yet clicked on the attack front, but that's not a concern yet. The squad are still fairly new to eachother, for all the will in the world it's going to take a few months to be playing with the same level of understanding as teams who've been settled for a few years.
Crucially, I think, there's been no games we have to win - against the likes of Newcastle, Brighton, Burnley, etc - to stay up. They've all been against reasonable, mid-table or higher opposition. You'd obviously want to be taking more points than we have if we were an established Premier League side, but we aren't.
Some of the pre-season optimism has worn off for me, but I'm still looking at the table and thinking that we'll be nowhere near the relegation zone come the end of the season.

Grrrr...far too many thread covering same thing. Can we not discuss this in Anyone starting to get worried? PLEASE

There are signs of progression and settling into this league which is positive. Players are getting used to each other, some quicker than others, and I am sure this will continue

Completely agree. The existing thread is getting tiresome enough with all the knee-jerk negativity, we don't need a second front at this stage!
Also, Flin5tone I've just noticed you've actually posted several times to the other thread so can't see why you didn't just post your thoughts there.

If it's tiresome, don't read it.

If it's tiresome, don't read it.
Consider it done.

I just don't get why people go on about threads instead of either ignoring ones they don't like or as you've done a few times today, debating a different opinion on them.
